Updated after a few years: when I went, the fries contained wheat, but the server was quick to notice this and was attentive to making sure the shawarma bowl was free from cross-contamination! Highly recommend, but I’m personally wary of the fried dishes.
Delicious, fresh GF dishes! The kitchen space is almost entirely GF, and they have a special place for rolling up flour wraps so that other ingredients are not contaminated. Their fries are delicious and totally safe, being the only thing deep fried. Their mint lemonade is excellent and their servers are trained to deal with severe allergies. šš¼ excellent

Really lovely family owned restaurant that can accommodate celiac disease. Food is simple, healthy and delicious. Gluten containing items include their pita and one do the grain salads. All dishes can be made in a bowl instead of a pita, and surfaces are cleaned prior to making a celiac order. I recommend!

Such yummy fresh food. Everything can be made GF. dedicated fryer. Only gluten on site is bulgur wheat for a salad and the pitas. They sanitize before making celiac food and have good protocols in place.

First time at Yalla, wholly yum!! Lamb shawarma and fried falafel in a dedicated fryer. They even sanitize the prep area prior to preparing your food. Highly recommend!!

Fryer and fries are gluten free, staff asked if I was Celiac upon ordering. Great tasting middle eastern food in a cute restaurant.

They're careful about cross contamination, and have a gf fryer for tasty fries! The hummus is super good too. My husband said he would order the gf shawarma next time because mine looked better than his. Would recommend!

I've eaten at Yalla twice, and both times have gone great. They seem to be knowledgable about cross-contamination issues, and make needed accomodations if you let them know you're celiac (i.e. preparing food on a separate surface, wearing gloves). As an added bonus, their french fries are both SAFE (they've assured me on both occasions that they only deep fry gluten free items in their fryer) and delicious!
