We were looking to try something new in the area and the online menu listed quite a few gluten free options, including burgers, pizza, and even a fried fish sandwich on gluten free bun. After waiting approximately ten minutes just to order drinks, our server could not answer any questions about the gluten free foods or procedures and stated that several of the side items were "probably gluten free" and "maybe okay," but didn't seem able or willing to get more info. Because of this, we chose to leave without ordering and eat elsewhere. Although I know it is always a risk to eat out and I don't expect every server to fully understand a gluten-free diet, I do expect a restaurant that advertises gluten-free choices on their menu to educate their staff or at least instruct them to refer customers to the chef or someone else who can help. I am sorry to say I can not recommend this establishment to anyone concerned about gluten exposure.
