Very knowledgeable about celiacs. Food was fantastic. I had the flavor bomb nachos as appetizer, holy crap sandwich, and coleslaw! Atmosphere was pleasant. It is very difficult to find restaurants in this area that can accommodate celiacs. I will definitely be visiting again! No cross contamination! I was able to eat safely.
I really enjoyed my lunch at Yellow Dog Eats. I had the Holy Crap, honey mesquite roasted Turkey sandwich on a GF bun, and a side of their coleslaw. Everything was so yummy. I appreciated that the Staff to care and was knowledgeable about all dietary issues. I highly recommend eating here!
I went to Yellow Dog two times on my vacation. It was THAT good! On my first visit, I asked the server what options they had for gluten free. She told me they could make any sandwich gluten free. If it was supposed to have gold barbecue sauce, it would be substituted with a red sauce as the gold has gluten. If the menu said the sandwich had fried onions, or something like that, those were obviously not be on the sandwich. I had the Club Elvis both times. It was amazing! The bread was delicious as well. The bagged kettle chips are also GF that come with the sandwiches. Great servers both times, knowledgeable staff, didn’t get sick. I call that a win!
I had the curried chicken salad. It was amazing. Staff said there was gluten free buns for sandwiches. I didn’t see on menu gf items noted but the menu mentioned gluten free available.
I asked what they had gluten free bc they do not have a gluten free menu. She said well we can do sandwiches gluten free with a gluten free bun. For me this is not a good feeling when they don’t have specific things that they know is gluten free. So I ordered the plain pulled pork on gluten free bread. The bread was not edible at ALL! Could not even cut it with the knife. Pork was good but I would say not good for celiac.
