What a cool experience and perhaps the freshest seafood I have ever had. I got the whole lobster with clams, chips, and butter which was just shy of $30. So so good. You order, they pluck the seafood from the tank and cook it right there. Takes about 20 minutes. We chilled at the picnic tables overlooking the bay. Great way to enjoy the food and the views. Highly recommend.

Shack off the side of the road. Bring your own alcohol & drinks. Didn’t advertise GF buns on the online menu but ended up stopping here for my partner, they had excellent GF buns for lobster roll. Please come here if you want fresh lobster and an authentic Maine lobster experience! 10000/10

They had Udi gluten free buns for the lobster roll. We forgot to check where the Mayo came from but we think you can order without Mayo.
You could also easily get the steamed lobster which was delicious.

Absolutely delicious!!! I got the lobster roll, which was definitely on the spendy side but WELL worth it, there was at least a whole lobster worth of meat on it. The gluten free bun was delicious, and they marked which one was gluten free when it came out. The atmosphere was also super cool, it seems to be an incredibly authentic lobster shop, which we were told has been in the Young family for 5 generations.

My husband is celiac, so we went to try out the lobster roll after seeing the previous reviews. My husband said the gluten free lobster roll was amazing. There was a little bit of a language barrier from the workers but they understood what we needed to order. My husband can tolerate slight cross contamination so we didn’t ask a lot of questions.

We went here based on previous reviews. There were 2 guys serving when we got there. I enquired about GF lobster rolls, and whether it would be safe with no cross contamination. The guy did not seem to understand what I was saying which was not reassuring. He confirmed they had GF buns, and said he would put the lobster in the bun, with no mayo or anything. That was not very appealing so we did not get any food here. I would not go back.

Extremely fresh lobster. Cold lobster roll was great, just wish it was warm meat! $20 for a large freshly cooked lobster & $35 for the lobster roll. Amazing!

Gluten free at the Lobster Pound!!🪝 Ok I have to be honest, when I walked in I was thinking to myself “how the heck is this gluten free”… but it comes to my attention that they have GF buns for lobster rolls! Also, majority of the menu is straight up fresh seafood (except the lobster roll with the regular bun). I would recommend coming here when you’re around. The atmosphere is cool and the views are fantastic!

Whoa, that was an amazing lobster roll and worth the hefty price ($35). It was bursting with lobster and flavor. It was a simple sandwich but so good. No frills here. They wrapped the sandwich in paper and wrote GF on it. They don’t really have much that would contain gluten so I feel this place is pretty safe. I had no issues at all after eating here.

This place is a gem. They offer GF rolls for the lobster rolls. The views can’t be beat. It’s an off the beaten path kind of place.

Went during an off peak lunch hour so service was relatively fast. Roll was packed with lobster and was priced 32usd. Roll was served with a bag of plain Utz chips and a couple of pickle slices. Menu notes that they have GF rolls.

Fantastic gluten free lobster roll. So delicious. A perfect spot to sit and eat lunch by the water!
Delicious, the GF bun melts in your mouth. I was order #16,000!!! A true gem with an amazing view of the bay. Pet-friendly. My dog loved the view and apparently lobster.

What a treat! Lobster, clams, chowder, lobster rolls, grilled haddock sandwiches. They have gf rolls for sandwiches. You order then sit at one of the many picnic tables overlooking the picturesque bay while you wait for your number to be called. We had the most delightful lunch on a beautiful day. FYI: Roll was soggy for the one person that ordered a sandwich, but otherwise the food was great and none of us was glutened.
