Food was excellent and our server was very helpful in guiding me to choose a yummy AND safe dish.

If you have celiac, please be careful here! When I called the restaurant seemed to totally get it and our waiter did, too. Unfortunately, a different server brought us the wrong dishes and I started eating something that was cross contaminated. Thought I was ok, but today proved otherwise. If you are going to go here, make sure you triple check everything and that you are served the correct dish!

I was diagnosed with celiac disease and a dairy allergy a few months ago so going out to eat has been hard for me ever since but thanks to Alberto I was able to enjoy my night and not worry about if I was going to be sick after I ate. He went through the menu with me and told me what I could and couldn't have and made a suggestion to get one of the steak dishes (which was the best steak I've ever had). Whether you struggle with food allergies or not Yuca is a great restaurant with great food and awesome service.I can't say enough good things about it! If you do have food allergies I would definitely suggest asking for Alberto!

Nicolas the server was very knowledgeable about celiac and made me feel so safe! The chicken mango and avocado salad is delicious! The chili mango dressing was also amazing and he made sure it was all safe! Would come back in a heartbeat!! :)

The staff was very knowledgeable - when I had a doubt they went to ask to the kitchen right away. Great food and great service. I didn’t get sick at all. However, I’m very sensitive not celiac.

The staff was awesome, I ordered the half chicken and nima tested it, it had gluten in it :(. But my husband had ordered the ropa vieja which tested gluten free, so I ate that! It was pretty good. We also had the watermelon salad which was delicious.

What a gem! Ordered the vaca frita which came with moro rice. One of my new favorite things! Menu is marked with GF options. Lots to choose from in SB but this is one not to miss.

There isn’t a separate gluten free menu but items are clearly marked on regular menu. I had the half chicken dinner, which came with delicious gluten free sides. Very good dinner!
