Although it is called a delicatessen, it seems to be largely a place to eat. Nothing on the outside to indicate you can eat gf - I found the details in FMGF. No gf marked on the menu, but careful choice and advice from the well-informed server meant we had a good evening meal here.

Came for breakfast. They offered any omelet/ egg dish with modifications. They have GF bread but were out of the bagels offered on the menu. Home-fries, latkes, and knishes all are cross contaminated or have gluten. Sever stated I would get extra fruit instead of home fries but I received two orange slices. Menu is NOT marked. I wasn’t sick but on a menu so large it was disappointing to have so few options. Food was good, not great.

Food is delicious for gf and non-gf! I feel very comfortable there and have eaten there many times without any issues.

GF items marked on menu (and they have GF bread and bagels). I got eggs and toast, didn’t trust the cc for home fries. Really good!

They have GF items marked on the menu. I felt pretty confident after talking to the waitress, she knew what celiac was and told me which items were risky for cross contamination. The upside is that the food is good and there are several options from omelettes to salads. The downside is that they don't offer GF french toast or pancakes, and none of their amazing baked goods are GF, so I guess that was too much to hope for.

GF items are marked on the menu. I’m not sure about cross-contamination, but I didn’t have a reaction to the Harvest Salad or the bacon. The waitress seemed knowledgeable and there were a decent amount of options.

This place used to be great. Decent now. Wish they still had the gf cupcakes.

Not too many vegan options. Concerned with cross contamination. Staff very polite
My daughter loved her gf bagel and lox. Delicious food. Staff understood gluten free and my daughter didn't get sick.

Do NOT go here if you are celiac!!! After telling them I was celiac and had a gluten allergy, I found a noodle in my meal. I asked the manager and chef what happened and they said they used the same water to cook the veggies as they used to boil their gluten containing pasta. Um, WHAT!?!? To add insult to injury the chef did not even seem concerned by his mistake. This place is unsafe for celiacs and would get zero stars from me if the app allowed that

The food is always amazing here. I ordered a corned beef sandwich but a few minutes later our waitress informed us that the kitchen was out of gluten free bread. I was so bummed. I ended up ordering salmon and a salad, which is healthier in the long run. My advice is to come early or they may be out of the gluten free options.

Lovely diner that has gluten-free bagels, bread, and menu choices. Celiac daughter ate breakfast here twice with no problems. She had a bacon and cheese omelette and fruit. Unique and favorite of the locals!

Meh. Not impressed with their attention to detail with gf.
Staff was very knowledgeable and the food was delicious. Lots of good options breakfast and lunch, and they even sell GF (and DF) cupcakes made by a celiac baker!

My new favorite place for breakfast. They can even bake/toast the bagels. Waitress was very knowledgeable.

Pretty good for gluten free. Nice staff, but not incredibly knowledgeable.
They've recently added a gluten free menu to their selection. Knowledgeable severs and a celiac chef make Zaftigs the go to for celiac diners looking for a hearty breakfast or Jewish deli experience.
Yes
They have gluten free bread and bagels for all the sandwich options, as well as fresh baked goods

I love Zaftigs! If you have celiac you can't have the fries/potatoes, but they can make all sandwiches on gf bread. I have celiac and have never gotten sick. Servers are knowledgeable! Great for breakfast or brunch.

To say this place has gluten free options is quite a stretch. I would say it has gluten free "option", and it is not a very good option. Look elsewhere.
No
Really great breakfast! They have gluten free bagels and bread, but they use the same toaster as regular bread so avoid that if you worry about cross contamination. Avoid the potatoes, same cross contamination issue. The servers were very friendly and accommodating!
Yes
Lots of food options. gluten-free bread and bagels. ask for the gluten free menu.
Yes
They have a gluten free menu with plenty of options. You won't leave here hungry or sick.
They have a separate gluten free menu (but make sure to look at the non-GF menu for actual descriptions of the food which the GF menu is lacking). They have GF bagels and bread and the food is delicious! The waitress asked me if it was a sensitivity or allergy when she saw me ordering off of the GF menu.
Yes
Numerous GF options and separate GF menu. The picture of my hot pastrami on bagel says it all.

both here and Natick are great. udis bread and bagels but they sometimes run out. make sure your waiter knows what they are doing or get the manager for help. never got sick. I go often.
Bread is small but very yummy! They were out of gf bagels which was unfortunate, but I had a breakfast sandwich on the bread and it was very good.
Staff seemed well informed and the menu had a lot of options.
