Waiter beyond unhelpful -- did not know what was gluten free or not. Had to check with chef every time (upon my insistence after starting with "I'm not sure") and didn't sound confident when he came back.

He subsequently tried to serve me complimentary crisps -- which, upon my insistence for him to verify, he then found out were not gluten free so we sent back.

Finally, he tried to serve me complimentary dessert which included cookies... I again had to ask him if it was gluten free. He checked again and said no, but I should "probably" be okay with the sugar jelly things literally touching the cookies. Yeah right!! Send it back!

The main food tasted great otherwise -- but I'm not confident it was actually safe for me to have eaten.

Overall, an unpleasant, confusing, and disappointing experience. Cannot recommend to celiacs -- felt too risky.

Absolutely incredible experience. Staff is AMAZING. Allergy menu but almost everything is gluten free. Staff is very knowledgable, but always asking the chef to double check. Will gladly return!

Staff were very knowledgeable about gluten-free and knew exactly what was in every dish, you just have to ask. The curries were exceptional, especially the chicken kadai, as was the kulfi ice cream (also GF). Truly my favourite Indian restaurant in the world! It is expensive but the service and the food make it totally worth it. I've been many times now and have never been glutened.
