Situated in Old Town Warsaw, this restaurant is easy to miss. We spotted the gluten free dishes and beer sign and walked in. The place was packed. The gf options were marked with a blue dot (mention this to the wait staff), the servings were very generous and food was delicious. Prices were great compared to Australia even with the service fee added. I didn’t try the beer but their drinks were well presented and again, generously sized. Definitely a must try.

The plazcki with chanterelles & the barzcz are TOP NOTCH. Do yourself a favor and get these. Perfect atmosphere sitting outside on the cobblestone street under the tent. So charming.
They made the polish dumplings gluten free! They were great! Gluten free beer was good too. Highly recommend

My last night in Warsaw, I stumbled upon this bustling cafe with a sign outside saying “gluten free food and gluten free beer” I’m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, but there were SEVERAL options on the menu and GF beer. There is a Zapiecek on the main street that is different. This is the REAL DEAL. She said basically any of the main dishes can be made gluten free. I opted for a GF beer, the barscz and placzki with freshly picked chanterelles and cream. I was in HEAVEN. The barzcz was phenomenal: flavorful with dill and a base of mashed potato. It filled me with happiness. The plazcki with chanterelles were unreal. The flavor of the chanterelle sauce was so rich with deep umami. I did not want it to end. The GF beer was absolutely delicious, almost an IPA style. I sat there with a giant smile on my face just taking it all in. I finished with a shot of their homemade citron vodka. I went to bed happy and fully. Highly suggested.

Not a good experience. They had a big sign out the front saying the had gluten free beer and dishes, yet when we sat down and asked, they had neither gluten free beer or food aside from salads.

Not very uplifting. The service was ok but nothing more, the waitress started collecting plates while some of the party was not finished yet. The atmosphere was old and worn out, but it did fit into the surroundings of the old town.
The food was ok but I was disappointed after seeing the menu of another Zapiecek restaurant - that did not offer gluten free food. The gluten free foods were not marked on the menu, but the waitress was very helpful explaining us which of the foods were safe.

Enforced by Celiac association. Make sure to go to this Zapiecek and not other locations. Gluten free pierogi and many other Gf options
