I used to eat here several years ago and would get the falafel plate (with cucumbers in place of the pita). But at a certain point I discovered that the falafel was not actually gf (I think it was a cc issue). So despite not having previously gotten sick, I stopped eating here.

Very good! Very fresh. I had chicken, rice, salad, cucumbers. There is not a Dedicated fryer though.
I called in advance to find out if they could accommodate gluten free because of my gluten allergy. This was probably 3 months ago. The person on the phone cheerfully said yes. However, when we arrived that evening, our server rudely said that they cannot accommodate gluten free at all and that there’s bread everywhere in the kitchen and that they won’t even try to accommodate gluten free. She repeated herself twice and not softly, so we left, feeling humiliated and irritated. Would put zero stars if possible. Will never step foot in that place again!
So we walked out of Alibabas because of bad service....then we still wanted Mediterranean food. We found Zayna's. Wow! So glad. The atmosphere was light. The service was amazing and warm. The food was so good I made myself stop eating because I was going to get sick. The wait staff was super knowledgeable what items had gluten. My stomach feels great, and satisfied. If you have celiac....do yourself a favor and eat here. Oh! The price point was phenomenal. My hubby and I both got drinks, apps, and two entree platters for under $50! What?! We have some to take home too. Great for date nights, foodies, family, friends, and wanting to impress folks with this amazing Tucson Gem!!!! In love!!!!

No dedicated fryer. No guarantee that anything is gluten free. "The pita bread is on every surface, even the grill." I ordered the dolmas.
No
So many gf options! Only things that are not gluten free is the gyro meat, pita, and tabbuellah (breaded). The pita is cooked in a sep. area on grill and chicken always in the same place, different place from the non-gf meats. Hummus and yogurt sauces are gf along with salad dressing (citrus). Rice is gf. Ask for Avery! She knows so much. Fries and falafel are the only thing in the fryer and both are gluten free! Baklava is not gf, nor are any other desserts.
