I used to eat here all the time before I was vegan because they are completely a gluten free restaurant. Now that I’m newly vegan (and a Celiac), this place is truly my happy place! I love all their desserts, especially the carrot cake and their buffalo jackfruit pizza. Their appetizers are also delicious, and everything feels very healthy!

Delicious all gluten-free and vegan restaurant. My wife and I are newly vegan (and she has Celiac disease), so this place is perfect for us! We loved the nachos and jalapeño poppers, but the buffalo jackfruit pizza took the cake! For dessert, their caramel tart and carrot cake were delicious as well! And lastly, their dinner roll is the best gluten-free roll/bread we’ve ever had! And their dairy-free butter was to die for. We will definitely be back!

This was such a treat! Felt so good to be able to try whatever I wanted. As a family we had the grilled cheese, the French toast, the nachos, a cup of soup, an omelette and the avocado toast. Everything was delicious, and my favorite was the avocado toast.

This restaurant is dedicated gluten free and vegan. I am gluten free and dairy free, so it was amazing to have so many options. Just a heads up for anyone with nut allergies, a lot of their menu items contain nuts. My kids and I went in between meal times, so we ordered an appetizer and dessert--stuffed mushrooms and cheesecake. They were both delicious! The waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. I am planning on going here again the next time I'm in SLC!

Sure it's safe for celiacs but... The tables were sticky, in the water they brought us swam some crumbles or wathever it was and the whole atmosphere was not so welcoming. Food was ok but many items were out of stock.

Eaten there several times and never got sick! Food and drinks are tasty, and the carrot cake is particularly amazing.

Parking is extremely hard and obscenely expensive (>$30 on a Friday for dinner) in the lot next to Zest - take transit, get a taxi/Uber/Lyft, or if you have to drive, carpool!!!!

I don’t know why there aren’t more positive reviews of this place! The only gluten items are a few of the beers at the bar. Everything is vegan and gluten free and DELICIOUS. I had “cheese” biscuits and Irish stew and it was such good comfort food. I wanted to try everything, I’ll have to go back next time I’m in SLC! The house made ginger beer was incredible too.

Was headed back to Colorado from Cali and found this dedicated gf restaurant right off of I-80 and just Before I had to get onto I-15 so. Super easy to get to and easy to get back onto I-80. I had the super foods protein salad. It was delicious. The young lady that greeted me was very pleasant and very helpful about the parking. I hope to try more of their menu items soon. Thanks for taking the chance on starting a dedicated gf restaurant along with being vegan and vegetarian. keep up the great job!

So interesting. The middle aged hostess was rude and full of attitude. We were greeted by our waiter then a different waiter approached while my wife was in the restroom and seemed irritated that I wasn’t ready to order for both of us. The food is flavorless and expensive don’t bother with the berry lavender lemonade it’s also flavorless. My wife had the Mac n cheese skillet , took 4 bites and quit, it was horrible and largely flavorless. Don’t waste your time here pick anywhere else.

Went there for take-out because it was allergy friendly. Manager was incredibly rude (Laurel I think her name was). I left the family outside and came in to ask how we order etc. If we hadn't had hungry kids waiting I'd have left, the way she spoke to me. Maybe she was having a bad day - the other staff were very nice but sadly I had to deal with Laurel each time I went in. Even a simple question about something on the menu was met with condescension. Getting forks and napkins with the take-out order was painful. Plus the order was wrong - Laurel herself bagged it. Never going back.

I had a Straw-bubbly martini, zesty nachos, and the carrot cake. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and SO filling. I’m not vegan but it was nice to know that everything was dairy free. I absolutely love going to Zest. I'm not vegan, but loving going to a gluten free establishment and being able to order anything! My father is vegan so we go everytime he comes onto town. I love the BBQ jackfruit pizza, the cuban tacos, the zesty nachos, and the chocolate beets torte!

The food was good, the salad was large even for a half. Two of us also shared the tasty curry meal that’s made with coconut milk, a few roasted vegetables and a thin sauce with lots of black/purple rice. I couldn’t seem to order online (they use ToastTab) and it kept failing at the point of checkout so I went in and Maddy took my order. We waited outside and I came back in to pick it up. I love supporting dedicated gluten free and dairy free places. I didn’t see any desserts and wish they had bottled still water for takeaway. We are just visiting but I would eat here again if I’m in the area and maybe try the nachos.

Yes, the entire menu is gluten free, BUT everything is vegetarian/vegan with the vast majority being vegan. All of the dishes have either avocado or cashews or are spicy. We didn’t know I was allergic to cashews too or we wouldn’t have eaten here. They also do not allow children, which may be an issue for some folks.

OMG! I wish I could take this place home. Such good food, completely vegan and gluten free. Their food is clever and offers a lot of veggies as well. I only stayed in SLC for two days, but came back the second evening. The fun thing is, my husband asked me to go back... And he has no dietary restrictions or what so ever.
