Everything is gluten free and tastes really good. I felt like $8 for a mocktail is a bit much. I didn't realize it was all vegan with no meat but that's on me. I had the stuffed mushrooms, dinner roll and cake made from beets and other stuff that was surprisingly yummy!

SO YUM! Very very safe!!! Only gluten in the restaurant is the beer. Got the nachos and a side salad with the cilantro vinaigrette, it was delicious.

My daughter with celiac was so happy to eat at a dedicated gluten free facility since those are few and far between. The server told us they do serve beer with gluten but everything else is gluten free. The food was really delicious as well.

I don’t know why there aren’t more positive reviews of this place! The only gluten items are a few of the beers at the bar. Everything is vegan and gluten free and DELICIOUS. I had “cheese” biscuits and Irish stew and it was such good comfort food. I wanted to try everything, I’ll have to go back next time I’m in SLC! The house made ginger beer was incredible too.

Was headed back to Colorado from Cali and found this dedicated gf restaurant right off of I-80 and just Before I had to get onto I-15 so. Super easy to get to and easy to get back onto I-80. I had the super foods protein salad. It was delicious. The young lady that greeted me was very pleasant and very helpful about the parking. I hope to try more of their menu items soon. Thanks for taking the chance on starting a dedicated gf restaurant along with being vegan and vegetarian. keep up the great job!

So interesting. The middle aged hostess was rude and full of attitude. We were greeted by our waiter then a different waiter approached while my wife was in the restroom and seemed irritated that I wasn’t ready to order for both of us. The food is flavorless and expensive don’t bother with the berry lavender lemonade it’s also flavorless. My wife had the Mac n cheese skillet , took 4 bites and quit, it was horrible and largely flavorless. Don’t waste your time here pick anywhere else.

Went there for take-out because it was allergy friendly. Manager was incredibly rude (Laurel I think her name was). I left the family outside and came in to ask how we order etc. If we hadn't had hungry kids waiting I'd have left, the way she spoke to me. Maybe she was having a bad day - the other staff were very nice but sadly I had to deal with Laurel each time I went in. Even a simple question about something on the menu was met with condescension. Getting forks and napkins with the take-out order was painful. Plus the order was wrong - Laurel herself bagged it. Never going back.

I had a Straw-bubbly martini, zesty nachos, and the carrot cake. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and SO filling. I’m not vegan but it was nice to know that everything was dairy free. Nothing feels better than being able to order from a restaurant and not have to ask them to be careful about cross contact.

I absolutely love going to Zest. I'm not vegan, but loving going to a gluten free establishment and being able to order anything! My father is vegan so we go everytime he comes onto town. I love the BBQ jackfruit pizza, the cuban tacos, the zesty nachos, and the chocolate beets torte!

The food was good, the salad was large even for a half. Two of us also shared the tasty curry meal that’s made with coconut milk, a few roasted vegetables and a thin sauce with lots of black/purple rice. I couldn’t seem to order online (they use ToastTab) and it kept failing at the point of checkout so I went in and Maddy took my order. We waited outside and I came back in to pick it up. I love supporting dedicated gluten free and dairy free places. I didn’t see any desserts and wish they had bottled still water for takeaway. We are just visiting but I would eat here again if I’m in the area and maybe try the nachos.

Yes, the entire menu is gluten free, BUT everything is vegetarian/vegan with the vast majority being vegan. All of the dishes have either avocado or cashews or are spicy. We didn’t know I was allergic to cashews too or we wouldn’t have eaten here. They also do not allow children, which may be an issue for some folks.

Can confirm this place is great. Deviled avocados were amazing, and I had the Thai sunrise. Delicious. Our server Max was super friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely hit this place whenever I’m in town.

OMG! I wish I could take this place home. Such good food, completely vegan and gluten free. Their food is clever and offers a lot of veggies as well. I only stayed in SLC for two days, but came back the second evening. The fun thing is, my husband asked me to go back... And he has no dietary restrictions or what so ever.

Driving cross country, stopped by here and was fantastic. Nice to have a place to get food and not worry about being stuck in a car after. Got the full breakfast, super tasty

I appreciate how everything in this restaurant is gf and vegan. However, half the menu was out of stock so the options left weren’t my first choice. The nachos were decent but the queso is made with potato so the flavor is a little weird for vegan queso. The ramen was also just okay. The only dessert left (avocado chocolate cake) was good but not outstanding. The drinks were great though!

You already know from all the other reviews, but to say it again: AMAZING! It feels so good to go to a restaurant and relax, to not feel like a burden for asking so many questions, and to not wonder later how I will feel. Staff is great food is delicious. Only negative is that the food is not great via take out. It just tastes better fresh, so to dine-in!
