DO NOT TRUST ZOES. I used to eat there all the time, but after multiple disappointments, I realized that Zoes is not safe for someone with Celiac or any other gluten sensitivity/allergy. Two examples come to mind: I ordered a "gluten-free" Greek salad, and I stressed that I had Celiac disease and explained what it was and how they had to prepare my food, but my salad was brought out with pita bread on it. Another time, the last time I went there, I mentioned to the woman taking my order that I had celiac, and I ordered the rice pilaf. After going to Zoes for MONTHS and ordering gluten-free and stressing that I had a condition, the woman that day was the first person to tell me, including the many managers that I spoke to, that the rice pilaf is NOT gluten-free. No wonder I got sick every time I went there! I just assumed that the spices on their kabobs were too intense for me. I am very disappointed in this chain, and I will never eat there again, nor will I ever suggest it to anyone with dietary restrictions.
