My husband and I stopped here to grab a bite after a long day traveling. We each had a sandwich, and a dessert sandwich. His was the only “Not GF”. He said the GF was as good as the regular. The “bread” is like a little fried pancake with the sandwich parts stuffed in the middle. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly.
Love that I can go to a restaurant with my friend and each of us get something we really love. She has celiac, and they were very accommodating. While they do not guarantee, no cross contamination (probably because of liability reasons) they did use a different sandwich press and wiped everything down and change gloves. My friend said the gluten-free bread was amazing so we go a gf dessert to share and it was delicious! Apparently the bread baker has celiac too. Anyway, highly recommend.
Food here is delicious, I remember it well from pre-diagnosis and their gf bread is great. I will say that the staff was a little nervous/uneducated on cross-contamination and if I wasn’t super hungry it would have felt too risky for me. They consulted an allergen guide to make sure everything I ordered was safe, but it just didn’t seem like a celiac was something that they dealt with often. But no symptoms after, so worth the gamble if just this once.
I LOVE this place. Their gluten free substitute is better than most. However, I am not celiac, just intolerant, so I don’t have to worry about cross contamination. They are NOT a gluten free kitchen and cannot guarantee cross contamination.
The GF bread is amazing. The combination of flavors in their sandwiches is outstanding. Highly recommend!
I used to come here before I was diagnosed (with a wheat, gluten and dairy allergy) and have always love their sandwiches.
The staff was very kind and the barista allowed me to check the ingredients in the syrup to make sure it did not contain gluten. I ordered a sandwich with gluten free bread.
The inside of the sandwich was tasty but the bread was very dry and difficult to swallow. I had a reaction to whatever I ate/drank there. I am not celiac and I am surprised how uncomfortable I felt the rest of the day.
This place is very cute and has tasty food but I won’t be returning due to fear of another reaction.
Amazing sanwhiches made with gluten free authentic bread. Yummy!!
