So good!! I’ve been so many times and still am not sick of it yet 😂 most things are naturally GF but make sure that they use a separate fryer.

This place is fantastic! Clearly marked GF items on their menu. They also have an allergen sheet if you ask. Most items are naturally gluten free. I had the chicken bowl and sweet potato wedges. Both were delicious but the sweet potato wedges with fry sauce were the true highlight. Friendly, quick service. I will be back often.

Zulu has one of the most extensive menus of gluten-free options I’ve seen. I ordered the chicken bowl, and the tricolored fries. The food was a veritable feast of flavor and color. The chicken bowl came with a side of Piri Piri sauce (I went with medium spice, which was a good amount for someone who likes spice but not a mouth on fire), which was a delicious balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy that reminded me of buffalo sauce but better.

The tricolored fries came with fry sauce, which I’m always a sucker for. The flavor was like a traditional fry sauce, but even better.

As this was my first time, the host was very helpful and explaining the menu, as well as the restaurant’s laudable charitable mission. It was clear that he knew about celiac disease and gluten-free diet requirements— volunteering information about how the kitchen uses separate fryers and equipment for anything marked gluten-free.

Zulu Piri Piri Chicken Grille is definitely going to be a regular stop for me whenever I’m back in Utah.

The food was delicious! The menu clearly marks what is gluten free. Most of the menu is gluten free or has a gf option. I had a chicken salad and felt totally fine afterwards. I would definitely go back.

It's so nice to have a new place that has a different variety of flavors and offerings that are gluten free! The chicken is so good and tender! I always get their medium sauce! I also always get the street corn, it's the best!

I had asked the staff about their concerns with GF, and they let me know the items were marked as GF and they also had a dedicated fryer. The food was alright, but after coming home I feel very sick. I’m not sure if gluten or the food is the cause of the stomach pain.

Get the chicken bowl!!! So so good!! I’m a celiac and have never gotten sick eating here- don’t know if I completely trust the staff as far as avoiding cross contamination, however almost all of the menu is Gluten Free so the chances of being glutened are low. Just avoid the fryer (not dedicated GF) and the chicken sandwich. Otherwise give it a try cause it’s seriously one of my favorite places!

This location has either left ingredients off my meal or undercooked the rice nearly every time I've been there (five times out of seven). However, the flavor is good, the taste is great when orders are done correctly, and I've never gotten sick from gluten contamination here. I recently acquired a NimaPartners gluten sensor and tested my meal, and it tested as gluten free, so this location is safe for people with celiac and other gluten intolerances.
