All the meats, all sides (yes, mac and cheese!) and all sauces are GF! Noted my GF request on our ticket. The have gluten free buns that come in a sealed bag. Dedicated fryer for fries! I loved everything, we’ll be back.

The only downside was that there’s no info on their website or in the restaurant itself about the food being gluten free! Basically heard about this place through a GF Facebook group. It is really hard to try new places as a celiac and to be the person asking 100 questions at a busy place - a note or items marked on the menu somewhere would bring a lot of confidence to the situation!

We just ate here. Great BBQ and safe for our Celiac kiddo too. All GF kitchen except for gluten buns - indicate allergy need for prep. My 6 year old enjoyed it, even the macaroni and cheese (she is partial to GF Kraft 🤓) The owner was telling us they also have GF chicken tenders if she ever wanted them and didn't want BBQ. We will be back!

IT IS AMAZING AND SAFE! Sue was so wonderful and even thanked me for letting her know I have Celiacs. She told me everything was safe and they even had a GF bun! (I did not get it). Once we were out and eating Sue came over and sat with us to make sure the food was good and that I was ok! She was amazing! One of the Gentlemen working there also asked me (as I was picking a sauce) if I had a dairy issue too, I informed him no I don’t, and he said perfect you can have anything! I felt very safe and well cared there! I will definitely be back!

ZZQ is delicious! I ordered pick-up and the wait was really quick then I asked for a dipping sauce and he recommended the garlic sauce and it was delightful. Really great pulled pork & chicken sandwiches! Very knowledgeable about celiac and I felt extremely safe eating it.

The owner Zak is fantastic, everything is gf except the buns which are kept pretty separate from everything else. A family member of his is celiac and educated him on gluten and they sort of stumbled into being almost entirely gf. Their house made sauces, rubs, all their sides are all gf! Super delicious and awesome staff. Haven’t had a beer there so haven’t checked to see if they have gf beer but might suggest it next time we go

Went there for the first time today with some friends. The sweet woman who took our order was so kind and knowledgeable when I told her I have CD.

Everything there is GF minus the buns, but they do have GF buns available! She was even so concerned about me that, with my friends' consent, made all of our meals Celiac friendly.

Amazing food, amazing staff and a cozy atmosphere. I will be returning!

I called in a pickup order which was taken by the owner, Zak. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Celiac as he has family members with CD. Zak told me how important it is to his restaurant to know if a customer has CD as the staff takes extra precautions to provide safe food. So, the food is outstanding! Smoky, flavorful and buttery tender meats. ALL the sides are gluten free and fried foods come from a dedicated fryer. Everything (including sauces) was tasty! We live about 45 miles away but will come back often!

This place is almost completely gluten free and is very safe, but...I really did not enjoy the food. We tried a good bit of what they offered, and it was hard for me to eat even half the amount I'd eat in a normal meal because the taste was unpleasant and the texture wasn't great either. The mac and cheese was pretty good, but I only had a bite of my fiance's since I'm lactose intolerant and can't handle much more than that.

Delicious! Loved that everything except sandwich buns are gluten free. We ordered online and they kept the sandwich separate from the other food. The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were delicious. My husband and I travel to Minnesota often for Mayo Clinic from Florida. There are not any good BBQ places that are gluten free or Celiac friendly where we live. I saw the amazing reviews ZZQ Smokehouse had and figured we’d give it a try for something different as I have not had REAL bbq in several yrs. EVERYTHING except buns for the sandwiches is gluten free. They have a safe area for us with Celiac Disease and a dedicated fryer for fries. ALL of the sides and sauces are gluten free as well. They are currently working on a gluten free mac and cheese and they had me try it. HOLY AMAZING!!! I got the 2 meat plate (brisket and pulled pork) with baked beans, coleslaw, and added a side of potato salad. Not only were the portions amazing, but everything was so flavorful and tender. The baked beans are literally the best baked beans I have ever had. The gluten free mac and cheese they are working on does not taste like gluten free mac and cheese and the noodles have the best texture. My husband who does not have Celiac disease said he would never know it was gluten free. I’m so glad I couldn’t eat everything because now I have left overs. No cross contamination reaction. Super friendly staff and great customer service. They took precautions and washed hands before preparing our plates. We will definitely be back soon!!!

A must for meat lovers with celiacs or a sensitivity. Owner Zak takes every precaution with cross contamination including dedicated friers. Let them know you're gluten free and they will wash everything. Only thing you cannot have is the bun. I'll be back!

The best BBQ I have had in a long time. Everything except the buns is gluten and celiac safe. Got the brisket and pulled pork with fries. Will be coming back.

I have celiac and did not get sick. Great for BBQ in southern suburbs that is safe for GF. Only think not GF is the bread. They said they’re currently working on a GF macaroni and cheese side.
