Gluten-Free at Zambrero

Service was amazing. As soon as I said I was coeliac they used separate products for my food to avoid cross contamination. All staff had good understanding on was coeliac meant. Meal was delicious and I was able to have over 90% of their menu. Very affordable and quick.

Tacos, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, and bowls! Similar to Chipotle but with more options and way more flavor! I got a bowl with the chicken, lots of toppings, and the secret BBQ sauce and it was delicious. Way more flavor and way bigger portions that Chipotle all for around the same price. Meats, toppings, and sauces are all marked GF or not as well as vegetarian and vegan. Great place for healthier, cheaper carry out on short vine which I feel was missing from the area.

Staff asked if I was coeliac and were careful to avoid cross contamination, even using different utensils and pulling fresh tubs of salads out of the fridge to ensure no dirty utensils had gone in. This has been my experience with numerous Zambrero stores now, which makes it much easier to find a quick “on the go” meal!

All fillings are gluten free, black rice tortillas are gluten free and can be wrapped in baking paper before heating. If you say coeliac they will use fresh spoons and untouched toppings

Zambrero’s is always a good and safe choice for a burrito bowl for a lunch on the run. Lots of options in meats/rices/salads/sauces.

Did not have an allergy chart. Couldn’t tell me for sure if it was gluten free.

Menu clearly stated all items gf except wraps and 1 sauce. Staff were knowledgeable and asked if they should change gloves before serving us. Great choice from the menu. Really good service.

The staff asked me if I was Coeliac and was good about using clean utensils and the salads underneath the counter so less chance of cross contamination. She did also warn me that they can’t 100% guarantee no cross contamination.

Wonderful food, and a huge selection of gluten free options along with egg, dairy, soy and nut free options. Also vegan friendly dishes.
