Gluten-Free at Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt

If you ask, they have great celiac and allergy protocols. The yoghurts were labelled for which ones were GF, and they got the toppings from closed containers in the back to avoid CC. They hsd protocols in place but you still have to be the diligent one, the worker did not know very much. For example she was 60% sure oreos had gluten, and when I asked for mochi only last minute did I asked for an ingredient list only to find wheat high up for some reason. But the worker let me read all packaging and was very kind and patient. Have not had froyo in maybe 8 years, this one was really good.

Gluten free items were clearly marked on the menu. Both employees seemed exceptionally cognizant and prepared to address cross contamination concerns and offered to add toppings from the back to reduce the risk of contamination.

GOLDEN SPOON HAS THE BEST FROYO! I’m from LA area, where all the golden spoons have shut down. I have no idea why. I was delighted to find this one on a visit to the SD area. So good. GF flavors are marked clearly.

Took my celiac daughter here. She got two of the GF yogurts--Caramel & vanilla. We got home and she mentioned her yogurt had a peanut butter after taste. I tried it agreed & called the store to inquire if the peanut butter was GF. Was told yes. I told her my concern & was told that there is always the possibility that the nozzle became cross-contaminated by another customer dipping their previous yogurt into the nozzle of another flavor. This is z serious allergy & celiac issue I had never thought of. Yogurt had to be tossed to be safe. We will not be back

They have a list of gluten free favors on the far wall next to the cash register. I like salted caramel with hot pecan loaded caramel topping.

Has always been a favorite of mine. Just went there for the first time since going gluten-free, and when I asked which kinds were gf, they brought out a list of flavors I couldn't have. Great texture!

Most all of their yogurts are gluten free with the exception of those made with malt or flavors based on cake. Yummy!

I've never had any gluten reactions here having stuck with toppings like marshmallow, fudge, almonds, or peanuts. Can't speak for other toppings but so far so good.

We went in tonight to try golden spoon for the first time and were told that at this time they only have one flavor that was gluten free.

Usually they keep a glue free list posted on site plus they will let you bring a gluten free cone in & they will fill it with your choice of frozen yogurt!

Just stay away from yogurt that has cake or cookie in title and you'll be fine. Lots of different GF topping too

Creamy yummy yogurt. Too sweet for my husband but perfect for me. It is like soft serve ;) some staff knows what is up GF, some don't. Stick to obvious flavors...not cake batter, graham cracker, or cookies and cream

I went to the one the one in Dana Point. They took the stand that all their products MAY have gluten, they would not guarentee anything, so it was best if we did not order anything. We had to leave. They are lazy and uncaring. They sucked big time, I'll never go back.

I love Golden Spoon and now that I have to go gluten free, I love it even more! plus this location gives double stamps on TUESDAY! score!

There are only a couple yogurts that have gluten. Check their website for the three that contain it.

Favorite yogurt spot! Have lactose free options that aren't sorbet. Yummy low and non fat flavors too.
