Their gluten free bread is really tasty. I usually go for the GF 'Havrebrød'. Highly recommended.
On the other hand, the coffee here is very mediocre, which is a shame because then you can’t get all you need in the same place
This is an great bakery for gluten free. The cinnamon buns are amazing and even better than some gluten ones I had tried in the past. Well worth a visit, or two, whilst you are here. Just a note, I was told if you call on the morning you want to collect they can keep things aside for you to make sure you get what you want.
Very good service and a lot of bakeries, ciabattas, rolls, bread, muffins, cookies etc
I had a pre-made chicken and salad in the cafe. It was a little too salty for me, but I didn’t have any negative reactions. It was easy to order, clean and had access to a toilet. Gluten free bread was available. The food was well labelled about allergens. Quite pricey for a cafe.
Always excellent. Will make sandwiches/rolls to order. Have good routine for making these without contamination. Range of gluten free cakes. Have gluten free traditional festive cakes and buns, e.g. for Christmas, Easter, Lent, mother’s day etc, allowing those with coeliac to feel included during these special occasions. So, so grateful to them for this!
Have only been in one of them so far, but the sandwich they made me was good and I didn’t get sick. I had salmon and they did say their Philadelphia had small amounts of gluten in so I went without any cheese/mayo etc. The one I went in only had chocolate cake which I wasn’t in the mood for, so can’t comment on that.
After reading so many positive reviews I was so excited to try this little bakery but I was seriously disappointed. When I asked if they could make me a gf sandwich they told me I had to buy the entire loaf of gf bread (just for them to use 2 pieces). When I asked if they had any rolls or other gf breads they said my only choice was buying the full loaf. The did have 3 gf cookie options but nothing spectacular. I was severely disappointed
I was nervous here just because it is a small space, was super busy, and there is a lot of non GF bread floating around. Wait staff kindly reassured me they would prepare my sandwich on a clean surface with dedicated utensils. Did not get sick and sandwich was very good. FYI not much room to sit inside but you can grab a bench in the public park area right outside of the weather is nice
Godt utvalg, god merking og god kunnskap hos de ansatte.
Lots of gluten free, dairy free, and lactose free options including bread, cakes, muffins, scones, etc. Shared space with gluten baking, but the staff are knowledgeable of cross contamination. They use separate tongs and put on gloves before handing GF products. I had a chocolate cake that was a bit dry but the icing was great.
They have a fantastic GF oat based bread. Very tasty.
Wandering around Oslo slightly off the main tourist thoroughfare I saw a bakery with Gluten Free written on the door (among other things in Norwegian). The bakery was filled with local people — always a good sign. I entered and asked “What do you have that is Gluten Free?” Bread, chocolate cake and sandwiches were pointed out. Being it was past noon and my first meal of the day I chose a ham & cheese sandwich which was perfection! The bread was so fresh, moist and with the interesting texture of sunflower seeds — all ingredients in the sandwich where also perfect: thinly sliced ham & cheese, lettuce and tomato. I accompanied my sandwich with a perfect latte. I dined in: order, pay at counter and seat yourself. I will return tomorrow morning before leaving town to get something to go!
