This place is completely safe. There's no gluten in anything, all gelato and sorbet flavors are gf. Even the cones are gf so there's no risk of cross contamination. The place is even certified gf. Also all the sorbets are dairy free and the extra dark chocolate gelato is dairy free.
I was so looking forward for trying this on our recent day trip to London but unfortunately for me the cones etc are GF but not DF. They were a bit vague about the ingredients, only saying there’s a small bit of dairy then eventually saying about 3% but not specifying what. The GF and DF melon sorbet was really tasty though, but super expensive when you’re a family of 5 compared to our excellent local ice cream place that is fantastic for allergies. It will be useful to know about the chain for a planned trip to Italy though.
Literally everything is gluten free, including the cones, the biscotti, and the cookies! The gelato is amazing. I recommend the Crema de Grom. The coffee gelatto is made with 40% espresso. The dark chocolate is great too.
Glutenfree icecream. Everything is glutenfree. Gelato.
This place is AMAZING! I’m not sure how it isn’t on this site yet. The entire place is gluten free, including cookies, cones, etc. A definite must for celiacs visiting Lisbon! There are locations in NY as well.
Only one dairy free option, but it was delicious- we didn’t get sick!!!
The ice cream cone I had today (sea salt caramel and vanilla) was so good that I had to nervously check online when I got home to make sure they were still 100% gluten free, even though I double checked at the store. Very pricey but good ingredients and delicious. Just want to clarify for people unfamiliar who may find these reviews confusing. This place has always been Celiac friendly but they used to have ice cream cones made of gluten. Now, the entire facility is 100% gluten free, event the cones! It's awesome.
Everything is gluten free even the cones! Excellent!
Amy is an idiot. 100% gluten free. Safe for celiacs. No tub under the other tub business as everything is now gluten free confirmed by the staff. Who were nice. Not like Amy said, “meh”. Amy doesn’t contribute to FMGF so she doesn’t know that having a celiac safe place is a godsend. Delicious ice cream.
Update: This location is now 100% gluten free. Part of the GF gelato chain from Italy. Here in NY they do serve regular cones, so you must indicate that you are celiac. The server will lift the bin from the freezer to access a second ice cream bin underneath used only for celiacs!!!
