Unlike a Sonic nearby, this one mixes various products in their fryer other than tator tots. So the GF tater tots are fried in the oil with wheat covered other things. Too bad.

The manager told us that they have many fryers, and that they only use two for tater tots and fries, everything else like chicken is fried in different fryers. Asked a couple ways, they insist it’s a dedicated set of fryers. Maybe they do that for taste, and maybe that’s why the tater tots are terrific and have never had a problem with these or a plain hamburger sans bun, so that’s what we do. The portion of tots and the taste are a treat. Probably worth checking each visit cause seems too good to believe at a fast food place it’s that consistent but our experience has been consistently good. They didn’t seem to know much about gluten.

Asked if they had GF buns and they don’t. I was able to order my cheeseburger with no bun. No dedicated fryer for GF fries/tots.

First time at this place, was disappointed there were no entries already so I’m sharing my experience. I forgot to ask if they do have a gluten free bun, but I did get a burger without the bun. It gave me a good experience to hear her repeat the no bun back. I received my burger with no bun in a small plastic container which I liked. I also got tater tots and a medium lemonade slush. Overall I was very happy with my experience and will definitely come back for more food.

Asked if they had a dedicated fryer for the fries and tots because I need gluten free food. I was told it was, but didn’t sound too convincing because they also said I could have onion rings, which I know I can’t. I should have stayed cautious because the fries and tots definitely gave me some bad symptoms.

I was able to order my double bacon cheeseburger without the bun. It was very tasty. Unfortunately I had been looking forward to some fries or tots and they didn’t have a dedicated gluten-free fryer so I had to abstain. Overall it was good.

They won't even allow you to order a sandwich or burger without the bun. It's ridiculous. You can order your burger with literally anything else on or off it, but you can't have a bunless burger.

Server told me they were trained in celiac and unprompted, said that they would sanitize and change gloves. Also warned us that it was not a gluten free kitchen.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Unfortunately you can’t order it without a bun so there’s definitely cross contamination. But the chicken was pretty tasteless.

Sonic has allergy pdf BUT they list several items as having wheat but NOT having gluten. So I doubt Sonic knows what gluten is.All of the drinks are listed as wheat and gluten free but the sugar free syrups have repeatedly made me sick. I get Coke Zero or Sprite Zero with one of the syrups that has sugar. I’ve been fine so far with orange and cherry syrup.The tater tots are listed gluten free. But I’ll never try them given the errors on their allergy pdf.

The crust is 12” of gluten free delicious! It is prepared separately from the other pizzas so sensitive people are safe. The toppings arefresh and generous.

Super convenient and super economical. We ordered the fries and tots as they are gluten free and prepared in a separate fryer! We love stopping here for fries and shakes when we are Roadtripping.

Was told nothing is gluten free here....even the plain shakes. I mentioned that menu online stated otherwise and was told the menu needs to be updated.

I eat the ice cream from here all the time. Obviously you are limited to what you can have mixed in but just tell the person making it that you need the machine cleaned and make it gluten free for an allergy.

Their tater tots are awesome. They are gluten-free. Sadly, their burgers are not, even their website says they are. I tested both with my NIMA gluten sensor.

I had my own bread and ordered a cheese burger with out the bun, so they also omitted the lettuce tomatoes everything but meat and cheese because they were not sure if I was also allergic to lettuce and onions Ect, just try what a burger or storms instead

I ordered with no bread (had my own) a double meat double cheese and they omitted the cheese for good measure. And what's worse defended the act.

Great on line allergy menu. Just do your homework before going in. Told the girl who took our order that I have gluten and soy allergies. No training or interest with my food issues. I ordered hamburger without bun. Came out with cheese. Their cheese has soy. A trigger for me. I told her I can't eat cheese. I'm allergic. She then responded, I guess you want a new one made. I did. Shakes are yummy! If cross contamination is an issue for you I would avoid this place. We have been there a couple of times, no one seems trained about allergies and sensitivities.

The burgers can be ordered with out buns. The burger is delicious but don't eat the fries for they are fried with other fried/breaded foods. For the burger craving, the burger patties are great!

Love getting all sorts of mixed drinks here and real fruit slushes. One of my favorite places to go. I feel safe getting a drink. Food...uncertain but the drinks are as good as they have always been.

Not easy getting a GF meal here. Ordered a burger patty. Must have explained 14 different ways that I just wanted the meat. "No bun". "Just a meat patty on a plate". "I cannot eat gluten, so no bun". The woman kept reading back my order, "A cheese burger with no cheese", and I kept saying, "and NO BUN". What did I end up with? A burger on a bun. I told her I needed a NEW patty. Just a patty on a plate. She asked if she could just take the bun off of this one. I explained again that gluten makes me very sick, and I needed a new one. 20 minutes later I got my patty on a plate. Not worth the aggravation.
