I had to travel to Buffalo, NY and found they were not very gluten friendly there 🥺 stuck with chipotle and chick-fil-ah
BensMom98 That’s so disappointing to hear your experience! We spend a ton of time in Buffalo and they have a huge Celiac population. We find endless GF options there. Maybe this app isn’t popular there?
lucia9124 There are quite a few choices there on this app. Chef’s Restsurant near downtown has fabulous GF pasta , including their signature pasta parm. And Wegmans grocery carries more GF food than one can imagine! That store is great. But go to the biggest one, near the Boulevard Mall.
susan703 Buffalo is extremely GF friendly! I visit often but don’t remember any particular places except Chef’s. LOVE their spaghetti parm! And I agree about Wegman’s, also.
marygo I’m only finding 1 place in Buffalo on this app. I guess people haven’t been reporting. 1 reply
david87748 Ton of places in Elmwood Village. Iron Tail, Forty Thieves, Sato, The Place to name a few. Actually just go the The Place, it’s the best place of all the places
hans111619 Any of the Griffon Gastropubs are great for GF- I think there are six in Western New York.
hans111619 Also be aware that this app can be really difficult to use in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area as it is constantly giving recommendations for Canada just across the river. 1 reply
Jfer0909 Sorry to hear that! I find it’s better than Rochester… 1 reply
Ellyse We’ve been to Buffalo/ Niagara Falls NY several times and have eaten at some really great (celiac safe) spots. The Burning Buffalo had amazing Buffalo wings in a dedicated fryer. The Outback is always a great celiac option as well (they keep a separate gf menu). I have a Buffalo / Niagara Falls NY collection listed too. Wegmans is a MUST. It’s a celiac dream!
anya28424 It depends if your looking for gluten free or specifically celiac safe gluten free without cross contamination. The later has not many options
zesty_b_ I’ve just been to Buffalo/Hamburg/Silver Creek for four days and all I can say is I’m absolutely starving 😞 2 replies
