Are reeces holiday shapes GF?

ryan119771 No - All varieties of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are gluten-free except seasonal shaped items (i.e. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs). NOTE: Double check to make sure your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are made by Hershey before buying them. Hershey does permit other companies to use their products in special seasonal items (i.e. Candy Tins), and those facilities may or may not be gluten-free.

melissa43759 Not all Reese’s are gluten-free. They have Take5 bars, special flavors of cups, and other items that do in fact contain gluten. I stick to regular Reese cups and pieces. If I’m craving something else I always check the label, because I cannot always remember which are truly gf.

jennifer39455 In the research I have done. I actually show that the holiday shapes or holiday special candies, candy cross contaminated, due to shared manufacturing in belt lines.

mari6403 The package from Hersey’s will say GLUTEN FREE if they are safe. It usual is a little black oval shape on the package that says GF. I have found some holiday ones that are fine but I don’t think they are the shapes.

Okra The smaller they are, the more likely there’s gluten. Gluten helps them hold their shape better.

serena8257 It’s a cross contamination thing is what I heard. Same ingredients, but can’t guarantee gf.

aubrey2292 If you follow @celiacdietitian on Instagram she did a whole post on this. They ARE gluten free and Hershey’s has a robust allergen protocols to avoid cross contamination! I eat the holiday shapes all the time and never has issues!
