Has anybody had a good experience or even tried going to Olive Garden recently? I have a gift card to go but I saw a couple bad reviews (5+ years ago) so just wondering.

coloradogirl_jess I personally have not had their pasta but I have had the zuppa toscana with salad no croutons a couple of times with no issues.

stacy174862 I have never gotten sick from the gluten free pasta and marinara. The salad dressing is not gf, but they may tell you it is. Ask for oil and red wine vinegar instead if you get salad and make sure they dont add the breadcrumbs. 3 replies

niguidula If you’re very sensitive I would stay away. A lot of opportunity for cross contamination and in my experience low knowledge from servers.

bri94648 We have a separate gluten free menu. We have gf rotini w/marinara or meat sauce. You can add grilled chicken, prawns, or sausage. When the orders are put through it pops up as ALLERGY and the manager has to be made aware and the server also directly tells the chef. It is taken very seriously. The chefs use fresh gloves, water, pots, and clean the grill. The salad is gf except croutons. Ask your server to use fresh/unopened ingredients to avoid cross-contamination. The Zuppa Toscana is a spicy creamy sausage/kale soup—also GF. Very yummy. You can also order the salmon or 6oz sirloin. Not a TON of options but as long as you tell them you are GF and cannot have cross-contact, there is protocol and your location should take great care of you! Hope that helps 🙂

eatgf Buy their cheese grater or their bottled salad dressing if you don’t want to eat there.
