My very favorite white sandwich bread! So delicious! Toasts perfectly. I saw mentioned in another review but I can’t stress this enough… seal it up and put it in the fridge after you open it!!! It will mold quickly if you don’t.

I really like this bread. Make sure to put it in the fridge to make it last longer.

chelsea57348 Schar white bread. Immediate no. So spongy and the taste was just off. Also I opened it the day it arrived, at one piece and the whole loaf was molded by the next day. 10 months ago

Mari Thank you! Everyone always loves Schar, and I just don’t like it. It gets stuck in your mouth. I don’t know if you did or not, but did you refrigerate it after opening? GF bread often needs to be refrigerated.

nathaniel199807 shars regular bread isn’t great, but their hamburger buns and sour dough are pretty good!

michelle27352 Everyone has different taste. Schar is always one of my favorites.

claire3377 Texture and taste of the white bread wasn’t to our liking but not horrible either. Willing to try the hamburger buns and sourdough on Nathaniel199807’s recommendation though.

felicia75882 I love schar! The ciabatta bread is good, especially if toasted. Can use for sandwich or hamburger. Also, the baguette!

auna666 I generally stick to their ciabatta rolls, toasted.

jen145076 It has an alcohol taste to me when it’s been opened more than a couple of days. Not sure how else to describe it but it’s not my first choice of bread.

phyllis7299 I always check the date, leave it on the counter, and eat it every day. It’s my favorite bread plus it agrees with my system. A huge plus!

dylan123956 Gotta toast it a little first and it makes it a lot better. The sourdough is my fav

Tracy84 I think Schars bread is super dry! Canyon Bakehouse is much better. If you want bread that seems to have a more ‘normal’ size slice, try My Bread Company online.
