I agree with the review by GFGal. It really depends where you buy them and from what troop. Sometimes they are buttery and are nice on the mouth, and sometimes the toffee is so stale that you nearly break a tooth on it.

There are two companies that bake Girl Scout cookies, which company supplies the cookies depends on which Girl Scout Counsel area you’re in. I don’t remember which company is which, but the box of these I got at the Albany Amtrak station a few years ago were AMAZING and very addictive. And the box I bought last year in VT wasn’t as good—the toffee was chewier and the taste/texture of everything just wasn’t as good. Still flavorful but not a wow.

Dry and not very flavorful. Love having an option to support Girl Scouts, but there are way better cookies out there. Goodie girl makes a wonderful thin mint replacement.
