• Kylie123 Personally I would be careful if you have Celiac, many celiacs can’t handle oats. My skin breaks out and I get a headache every time I eat them but my little sisters with celiac can eat oats just fine. You have to figure out what works for your body and what it can’t tolerate.

• eatgf I contacted celiac foundation since Cheerios is a “proud sponsor” of the foundation. I asked them why they accepted monies. This is their reply… Thank you for your email. • jennifer57622 Our GI doctor said Cheerios and other cereals that use commodity oats are high risk for contamination. Her recommendation was to only consume oats in products that are GF certified (listing GF on the box means internal testing, GF certified is verified by a third party). We have a celiac in the family so we avoid Cheerios, Lucky Charms, etc.
