Dining Halls: Almost every dining hall has an allergen-free station or a gluten free station. (My favorite is the “worry-free” kitchen at Memorial Dining Hall

The options there are usually good, but if you aren’t sure about what you can eat that will be safe, you can contact the dining services RD (Taylor Beard) and she can help you walk through the stations and pick things. Any station other than the indicated gluten free stations are definitely at risk for cross-contamination, so if you have celiac disease I highly recommend contacting the dietician no matter what.

Website: The website for the food menu used to list all the ingredients, which I would look at (because I’m non celiac gluten intolerance so cross-contamination doesn’t matter), but through recent chain supply issues, the ingredients aren’t all listed there anymore.

Chefs/Staff: if you are not sure if an item is gluten free and ask the chefs/staff, I believe they are obligated to go check for you and show you the list of ingredients. Not all staff members are kind and courteous, but as mentioned above, if you have any issues, Taylor Beard and other Baylor dieticians can help!

Other Food on campus: chick-fil-a has options in the sub as well as common grounds/Starbucks for coffee, Moes Southwestern in the BSB for lunch, and occasionally the “Revolve” station in the Sub will have options. There is also a which which that does salads, but it’s more cost effective to just get a salad from the salad bar at a dining hall.
