there is a lot of cross contamination. while they do have food that is labeled gluten free and have gluten free substitutes available sometimes, the staff weren’t very knowledgeable about what gluten is and there were no proper protocols for being gluten free. mack’s market (the little grocery like store on campus) does have several gluten free options for snacks, bread, and even gluten free flour sometimes. overall, if you struggle with cross contamination i would ask AES for a meal plan exemption due to celiac.
