GF bakery! I got the lemon chiffon cake, an apple fritter, and a sourdough boule. The lemon chiffon cake was great, the apple fritter was pretty good (I ate it a day later, so I’m assuming it would have been better fresh). I did not like the sourdough boule. I’m picky and have baked sourdough plenty, and I thought it tasted overly sour in an artificial way. I’m also not fully GF yet— waiting for endoscopy— so i may not be removed enough from gluten too appreciate it fully. They had a wide range of offerings that all looked really good. I was impressed by the texture of the cake— I think achieving that would be difficult with alt flours. I’d come back again to try more if I lived anywhere near here. Stop on your way into North Cascades to grab snacks for the day!
