We have eaten here several times and each time the wait staff is knowledgeable and understanding. There is not a separate menu but most of items are gluten free or they can make adjustments so that it is prepared gf. Have never had a reaction and the food and service are amazing.

My boyfriend and I ate at 801 Chophouse to celebrate Valentine's Day. Most menu items are gluten-free, and the kitchen takes steps to avoid cross-contamination if you inform them of an allergy. My server was very patient and accommodating, and took the time to go through the menu with me and let me know what I could and could not eat. If our server was ever the slightest bit unsure whether or not a menu item contained gluten, he always double-checked with the kitchen. I did not get sick after eating here. If you have Celiac and are looking to eat a higher-end establishment in Des Moines, perhaps for a special occasion, look no further!
Yes
No GF menu but server is very accommodating and knowledgeable. They mark your order allergy/celiac and the servers assure you the entree is gluten free upon arrival at your table.
Gluten free bread available and some gluten free desserts as well.
Shared fryer so beware but they should steer you clear of cross contamination.
Quality food and you’ll certainly pay for it. Def going back tho.

Dined here with our 9 year old daughter. They serve gf bread for the table. We enjoyed the steak, some sides, veggies, baked potato. Server was very accommodating

I have eaten here twice! Food is by far the best food around. Both times wait staff wasn’t really sure what was gluten free but was great about going to the back and asking to check on things. I felt very comfortable eating here and I will be back!

Excellent service and procedures in the kitchen. My spouse and I both have Celiac disease and our waiter clearly explained our options. We were even able to enjoy world-class scalloped potatoes!
We had an amazing meal and neither of us felt the least bit sick afterward. I would highly recommend 801 Chophouse to anybody with celiac looking for a top quality steakhouse in the Twin Cities.

I am traveling and came and ate here. Was very nervous about getting sick again on my trip, but this place accommodated me very well! They had fresh gluten free bread to, and I nearly cried over it. I asked questions and they would go check everything for me just to double check. Would definitely go back.
