As a family with a gluten-allergies (Celiac Disease) we rarely get to go to a Sports Bar and eat pretty much whatever we'd like. And certainly never without fear of cross-contamination. We heard about "97 Lake" and were eager to try it out. Having been there, I would definitely recommend it. The owner has CD and everything on the menu is GF by default (except breaded items like sandwiches, etc., which are offered either way, so you should specify).

The sliders (cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger and pulled pork) were excellent - moist and flavorful. The french fries (regular and truffle/parmesan) were awesome. And the GF dessert options were exceptional. My wife and daughter had the wings as well as the Mac-and-Cheese. We didn't try the pizza, but will at some point. As I mentioned, everything is GF.

In addition, the area is nice. Plenty of parking and located in West Harrison, just across from a beautiful football/baseball field where they were playing little league games.

I see a few bad reviews on Yelp from 2012 - not sure what happened there, but we found the wait staff to be friendly and helpful. No complaints. We plan to go back a lot, so I'll re-post if we encounter any bad experiences. From what I saw, I wouldn't be worried.
