It's closed until further notice. Went across town in search of their chicken and waffles and I was so disappointed. Hopefully they will re-open

My favorite place! Everything except the beer is gluten free so you can eat whatever you want. The fried chicken is life changing!

It says they are closed on Tuesdays but that is not true. Don't go here on a Monday either. Apparently they are closed on Mondays too. Don't call them. They have an answering machine but they "don't check messages". They may be an awesome place to eat but it seems like communication doesn't count. Fix your hours on the app AMOT because if you're not going to inform your customers via phone conversation the least you can do is make sure the vital details of your business are listed properly where you advertise your business. Thanks!

Love this place! I am not entirely sure why one other review stated this is not a dedicated gluten free business? My family and I have eaten here several times while on vacation over the past 2 years. Each time, I ask whether any non-gf items are fried in their fryers, whether everything on the menu is gf or not, etc., and the answer is always yes at AMOT. I have always had a wonderful experience here, whether dining in or take out. I imagine the dinner or lunch rush may alter your experience, if they are very busy. I have had the burger, fried chicken (which was the best gf fried chicken I've had in all my 13 years of being gf), and several lunch options. Highly recommend if you live in Nashville, or if you are traveling and need a safe place to eat.

Amazing food. If you want a place to go that you are positive you won't get sick from cross contamination, this is the place. My only complaint is I wish they were located in Wisconsin. Last time I went we got the nachos that were so good and the biscuits and gravy.

Sausage biscuit was pretty good but grits and gravy were very bland... apple fritters were yummy... chicken and waffles (we got gravy on side which has a jalapeño kick)- waffle was like a corn batter which was ok but fried chicken was moist and yummy...,

a.k.a. AMOT.

What a disappointment! I'm always rooting for places that are exclusively gluten free as I selfishly want them to stay open. But this place was a disaster in so many ways. In a nutshell the service was poor, the food was not cooked well and didn't taste great. Read on if you'd like more details.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place as her "favorite restaurant in Nashville." We were anticipating goodness as we drove into East Nashville and we could detect the hip vibe of an up and coming neighborhood.

When we arrived right as they opened, the door was unlocked by a young lady who clearly was unhappy we showed up. Or that she had to work. Or that the sun was shining. Either way she was unhappy and not about to allow us to bring any sunshine to her miserable day.

We chose a table and sat down. We attempted to order coffee but our server grumpily informed us that "a little knobby thing on our coffee maker is broken so someone had to run out to get a new coffee pot." She implied that they'd be back shortly but alas we were destined to end our meal without caffeine.

Any questions to our server about the menu were clearly asking too much as they were each responded to with a cold, annoyed response. We ordered juice and a mimosa (they were fine) and waters for our kids. The dishes were all clean and that's just about the only plus for this place.

I ordered a dish with two eggs, a breakfast meat and a side. I chose over medium eggs, pork sausage and fruit. The fresh fruit and sausage were fine. My eggs were cooked over hard and slightly burned. Too chewy to eat. Our children had the French toast which was also burned, at no additional charge, and a side of fresh berries. My husband had the chicken and waffles which he indicated were just "okay" though our server indicated they were a popular dish.

Sadly AMOT was a flop. Do not go there. Do not send anyone you know there. Unless they advertise new staff and a new chef it would not be worth your drive or your money.

Came here for Sunday brunch while visiting the city-its a rare all GF find although it's not mentioned on the website or menu. Had the breakfast nachos (corn), a buttermilk biscuit (rice) the likes of which I never thought I would have again after the allergy diagnosis, and the bite of my husband' corn meal waffle was divine.

The food is delicious. We sat on the patio on a beautiful week day on vacation. The service was good and there is a parking lot which is good to know as it is in the metropolitan area. The only downside is that it is not close to home. I am gluten sensitive and was pleased that I could have anything on the menu w/o having to pick and choose from some things I might not even want. My non gf spouse enjoyed his food too. I had sausage biscuits and it was served with gravy, as well as butter and delicious jelly and I chose the fruit bowl as a side. That turned out to be a large bowl of berries. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had the best GF food, fried chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, creamed corn and beans and rice. My 12yr old celiac has never had fried chicken before, she loved it! And we had to try all 3 desserts; chocolate cake, apple fritters and the BEST lemon curd and berry trifle, to die for!

***Updated review*** Delicious, safe, and consistent. AMOT has a fully gf food menu so cross contamination isn't an issue. For your gluten loving friends, there is a good selection of craft beer. The spiked seltzer is gf, has the alcohol content of beer with fewer calories, and tastes like spring time. Whether you stop in for the daily brunch or the farm to table dinner, AMOT is a winner. ***Updated review*** AMOT may have found their stride. The farm-to-table meat and three is truly delicious. I'll try it a few more times to compare consistency, but AMOT may soon have a 5-star rating from this Celiac food snob! ------------------------------------------ Safe, but the food isn't consistent. The restaurant has been making changes and is steadily improving. So much potential, but they're consistently slightly off base. Hopefully, AMOT will be a consistent 5-star restaurant soon.

Not safe for Celiacs!!! I was so excited to try this restaurant and the food was very tasty. I ordered the biscuits and apple fritters, and ate half of my hubby's chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, 3 hours later I was in the bathroom for the rest of the day sick, sick, sick to my stomach. It took me a week to recover. I have been on a gluten-free diet for 12 years now.

When we ordered the waitress assured me that everything was gluten free so there was no chance for cross contamination. However, the owner, or the chef, brought in boxes of Shipley Donuts (which are not gluten free) for the staff and they were placed outside the kitchen window where the food is served from the kitchen. The Shipley Donuts were right next to the jam, condiments, silverware, etc. so if someone were to grab a donut and then touch the anything in there or if a crumb fell into the jam then there's the contamination. Why in the world would they bring in wheat donuts to a gluten-free restaurant, leave them next to the serving utensils for the restaurant, and then claim there's no chance for cross contamination? That is the definition of cross contamination. Anyone could have dropped a crumb or handled a donut, not washed their hand and then touched anything in the kitchen. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with Celiac Disease.
