a.k.a. AMOT. What a disappointment! I'm always rooting for places that are exclusively gluten free as I selfishly want them to stay open. But this place was a disaster in so many ways. In a nutshell the service was poor, the food was not cooked well and didn't taste great. Read on if you'd like more details. Our hotel concierge recommended this place as her "favorite restaurant in Nashville." We were anticipating goodness as we drove into East Nashville and we could detect the hip vibe of an up and coming neighborhood. When we arrived right as they opened, the door was unlocked by a young lady who clearly was unhappy we showed up. Or that she had to work. Or that the sun was shining. Either way she was unhappy and not about to allow us to bring any sunshine to her miserable day. We chose a table and sat down. We attempted to order coffee but our server grumpily informed us that "a little knobby thing on our coffee maker is broken so someone had to run out to get a new coffee pot." She implied that they'd be back shortly but alas we were destined to end our meal without caffeine. Any questions to our server about the menu were clearly asking too much as they were each responded to with a cold, annoyed response. We ordered juice and a mimosa (they were fine) and waters for our kids. The dishes were all clean and that's just about the only plus for this place. I ordered a dish with two eggs, a breakfast meat and a side. I chose over medium eggs, pork sausage and fruit. The fresh fruit and sausage were fine. My eggs were cooked over hard and slightly burned. Too chewy to eat. Our children had the French toast which was also burned, at no additional charge, and a side of fresh berries. My husband had the chicken and waffles which he indicated were just "okay" though our server indicated they were a popular dish. Sadly AMOT was a flop. Do not go there. Do not send anyone you know there. Unless they advertise new staff and a new chef it would not be worth your drive or your money.

Came into town with my bf and after being glutened at other places in Nashville it is such a relief to go to a place like this! I had the biscuits and gravy and it's so delicious. We will be back

We ate here 3 days in a row during our stay in Nashville (after being poisoned by "Another Broken Egg Cafe"). It was like the Celiac Embassy in Tennessee. Everything was great but definitely try the chicken and waffles!

This place is awesome! We had steak frites, French toast, and cheeseburgers. Every bite was wonderful. The bistro fries and sweet potato fries were perfect. We liked it so well we bought food to go to share with other family members who have Celiac. We'll definitely be back when we're in Nashville. The hostess told us everything on the menu is GF, with the exception of some of their beer selection.

I was incredulous when I first saw how extensive and unique the gluten free food offerings are on the menu. the restaurant is 100% gluten free and 100% delicious. I had the gluten free chicken sandwich. it was super tender, juicy and flavorful. the grits are the real deal. My dining companion had the gluten free burger with sweet potato fries that are fried in a dedicated fryer. We split the gluten free French toast. it reminded my friend of the way his mom made French toast before going gluten free. it was a stress free experience with the added satisfaction that the food was amazingly delicious

We visited Nashville over Christmas and went to AMOT three times because the food was so good. It was wonderful finding a restaurant with good food (that just happened to be gluten-free). My wife is celiac and needed gluten-free food. This menu is simple, but varied. We have never had boiled peanuts before. I would recommend them, and anything else on the menu. The owner, chef, and staff are very friendly.

When's the last time you could order off the entire menu? This is a great choice for celiacs, as everything is safe. I highly recommend the burger topped with onion rings and bacon and the breaded buffalo chicken sandwich. If anyone is not GF, they will feel right at home, too. Food and service are great, and a fun place to hang out.

I love it! Yesterday was our first visit and we couldn't decide. My husband had a burger ( he's not gf). He liked the burger better than those served at Burger Up. The sweet potato fries were the best! I ordered the breakfast plate with gravy. I didn't enjoy the flavor of the gravy but it could have been just the time of day, cooked too much. The white/chocolate cake was awesome! We returned today to share a burger fries soup and french toast. It was all great food! I felt spoiled being able to order off the regular menu like everyone else. I suggest the raspberry 'booch' to drink! We will be back to try dinner soon.

Nice variety. If you've never been to a dedicated gf restaurant you will be ecstatic about your options. I myself appreciated the variety I don't get at our gf place back home. That being said, the food is mostly bland. During our stay in Nashville we've eaten here more than once. I like to try everything, and I've tried at least 5 dishes. I love that the fried chicken is two breast as opposed to split . The artichokes are jarred, but the kale is delicious. Pesto pizza, was alright, but a bit over cooked and extremely thin. Pasta was good, but the Alfredo sauce appeared to be colored water. The waitstaff was very friendly, but not very good at being waitstaff. Maybe that is because they aren't pressured with crowded tables so they're lacksadazy. Overall my experience was good. If you're just looking for a gf meal, this is a great place. Don't be in a hurry though. Each time we went, the wait was long. And even after our meals were long gone, we waited, and waited for the bill.

Very pretty atmosphere which is why i gave them an extra star, but even though they are gluten-free, they are heavy on dairy which anyone with celiac should be aware that dairy is a big cross-reactor! It's disappointing when you see places seemingly willing to accommodate people with celiac but they don't fully get it.

Wonderful food! Great menu. HORRIBLE service. We went 2 nights in a row. The first night the service was slow but at least the waitress was polite. The 2nd night the waitress was so incredibly rude that we are our appetizer there & took the rest to go in order to get away from the waitress. Then she still managed to get our order wrong and blame it on the kitchen staff and resisted even fixing it!

Excellent food. My husband are passing through Nashville and needed a place to eat. I get very ill when I eat gluten so it was nice to not have to worry about anything since it is a dedicated gluten free business. Our server was Sarah and she was awesome and very helpful. I would definitely come back. The baguette is amazing and so are the nachos! I had the pesto chicken and my husband had the turkey with Brie and apples. Everything tasted amazing!

I came here for lunch and got some AMAZING onion rings! I got the Chicken Pesto on home-made bread. Being GF for 5 years, I know how the GF bread texture should be. I picked it up and it fell apart. Other than that everything was 110%. The Baguette is great, I know that because it is Udi's! Love the staff! Defiantly recommend coming here!

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great and the employees are super nice. The food, all gluten free is awesome! They have burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, soups, appetizers and more. And desserts too. Didn't get to try any dessert because I was so full from my burger! If you live in the Nashville area, you have to give this place a try! It's so nice to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about cross contamination or the staff not knowing about Celiac. I can't wait to go back!

This is a totally gluten-free restaurant in the east Nashville neighborhood in Nashville Tennessee. The menu is quite large and has pizza choices, sandwich choices, hamburger choices, salads, steak and seafood and a couple of pasta dishes I tried a lot of the food and it was all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and the waitstaff is great and made the evening a lot of fun. They serve gluten free beer and also wine but I cannot remember if they serve alcohol. My husband does not have to be gluten-free and he really enjoyed the food as well he is a barbecue aficionado and he tried their barbecue and said it was very good. You will really enjoy dining here and it is great to have so many choices and no concerns about cross contamination in the kitchen.

A great, dedicated gluten free restaurant. Nice to be able to order anything off the menu and not worry. Went for lunch on my first visit and had the chicken pesto with arugula on a gf baguette and homemade chips. Very tasty and flavorful and was just enough to be filling, but not overly so. Maybe a bit pricey, but that's just a fact of life for the gluten free. Definitely worth it for the quality of food and peace of mind in a completely gf environment. Looking forward to going back for brunch!

Yaaaay! Finally a 100 % gluten free in Nashville! No worry of cross contamination! Lunch, dinner & amazing weekend brunch. Beer, wine, ciders & a great patio! Homemade bread is so light & fluffy. I always get the biscuits & gravy as an appetizer for brunch! Pancakes, French toast, Eggs Benedict etc. soups are homemade daily as well as salad dressings. Everything is fresh! Burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads for lunch & dinner menu has pasta, scallops, filet, mac n cheese, fried chicken etc. always a homemade dessert. So delicious and so nice to be able to order off the whole menu. The owner opened this restaurant because she has to Eat gluten free and wanted to provide a place where people like her could eat...refreshing. A restaurant with a purpose:)

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! The only 100% gluten free restaurant in Nashville. What a gift to eat out safely and be able to choose anything on the menu! A little pricey, but worth it to eat high-quality celiac-safe meals. Most of their ingredients are sourced locally when possible. All very fresh. Warm, trendy atmosphere inside. For dinner, I had their bruschetta, giant diver scallops, mascarpone mashed potatoes, and tried others' buttermilk fried chicken and herb seasoned french fries...all amazing! Their lunch and brunch menus look delectable, too. This will become a regular spot!

Absolutely fabulous. Yes, it's a very small place but they are moving to a larger location and will be serving both lunch and dinner. Can't remember if she said when they are moving. We got there early about 11:30, which was great because the place filled up (so glad to see a dedicated GF restaurant frequented by so many). The takeout business was non stop. The waitress was adorable and she took care of all the tables and the takeout orders. I had a cheeseburger to die for (it was a special that day and not on the regular menu, I but it should be) with a buttered bun that was soft and totally yummy. It was topped with sautéed romaine (thought that was strange but I'm a believer now) huge slice of tomato and red onion pieces and savory sweet potato fries. I was only going to eat half of the burger tbut I couldn't resist. Also had to have a cheesecake bar for dessert. My husband had a very substantial chicken salad sandwich on thickly sliced regular bread. Don't miss this place if you're in Nashville. Wish I had gone back the next day. People with Celiac Disease living in Nashville are very fortunate to have this restaurant option.
