Review of a stir

Review

This used to be my go-to restaurant in the area as I have celiac and my partner has a severe nut allergy, but the changes made when changing the business from Capitol Cider to a stir have been disappointing. I’m very happy they still serve the cheese curds—they’re fantastic, as many other reviewers have noted—but the other alterations to the menu seem mostly to have upped the prices and shrunk the portion sizes, particularly for the entrees.

I dined at a stir about two months ago and it was a bit of a confusing experience. Our waiter (who was lovely) explained that the restaurant no longer had a dedicated GF kitchen, which is in direct opposition to what it says on the restaurant’s website. I’m pretty certain the waiter just misspoke but it unfortunately put me on edge for the meal.
