The food was so good that I went there 2 times during my stay in the Azores!
This restaurant has a lot of demand so you have to have wait for your turn (the waiting can last almost 1 and 1/2 hours when there is a lot of people), but it is worth it. You just got to have a lot of patience!
There is a variety of dishes and even though they aren’t all gluten-free, if you tell them about your intolerance or allergy they can adapt to it.
The first time I went I ordered the bacalhau which came a little cold but was good. The second time I had the alcatra and this was truly delicious! For desert I had the caramel mousse which was also spectacular.
The staff is very knowledgeable and is happy to help in case of an allergy or any other concern.
A very good experience overall.
