The BEST GF/DF/Yeast free meal I've had out in years. My server had my back in looking out for my allergies and worked with the chef to accommodate me. 100% worthy of an outstanding review. Thank you, Acre. My steak, brussel sprouts, and a sweet potato were scrumptious.

Staff was not knowledgable and had no care regarding cross contamination in spite of my requests. If you have a gluten free menu, please educate your staff. This is a serious health issue for many of us - not some frivolous food choice.

Yes, Acre has "gluten free" items noted on their menu, but my experience was not GF. Many of the entrees list fried items that are not fried in a dedicated fryer, so NOT gluten free. When I asked to substitute sliced tomatoes for the fried okra, my tomatoes came out with five or six croutons hidden underneath. Not great to be halfway through a dish only to discover you're being glutened. After reporting this to my waitress, the manager did come over and offer me a free dessert, which was nice, but I had already lost confidence and didn't want to eat anything else.

My ribeye was fair. Overall, Acre needs to better educate staff.

Acre has a new menu which designates which items are gluten free. They had a selection of entrees (I am always glad to have some choices) which included beef and seafood in addition to salads Their menu changes regularly depending what is in season. The night I was there, they even had a flourless chocolate cake which was yummy. They were very kind and understanding to my needs. I can't wait to go back.
