Waiter was knowledgeable about lack of gluten in all the food (except baklava). Felt very safe, food was tasty and fun to eat and felt great.

Totally authentic experience. You eat using pancakes and fingers. Loved it.

The food was very tasty. We had the 2-course set menu which included a variety of dishes eaten with a gluten free “bread” as our utensil. All of the food was delicious, but my favorite was the chicken (Doro Tibs in Berbere).

Everything except the desserts are GF, and delicious, so you can eat without fear!
Amazing food, gluten free and can even make the food garlic and onion free if you give them notice when you book. Have happily enjoyed many meals here.
Truly is GF friendly, everything is GF (Except for desserts which the waiter and menu explained are not typical for an Ethiopian meal ) so no need to worry at all about getting sick after a meal here. The wait staff are patient when describing all the food options. Place is beautifully decorated and food is delicious.

The entire menu (excluding some desserts) is gluten free! The bread is made of either 100% teff which is naturally gluten free, or rice flour (get the teff, it’s better!). They additionally have a vegan menu which is very helpful to me considering I am both vegetarian and lactose intolerant, which is very common with celiac disease. The food was delicious and authentic and the staff knowledgeable about gluten free products. I got the three course set meal which came with a vegan kartegna as a starter as well as 8 different vegan entrees. For dessert I got sorbet, but was too full to even finish it! Highly recommend this restaurant. I am just traveling but would return over and over if I had the time!
