I took my wife and daughter who are both celiac and we had an amazing time. The food was amazing, so fun for everyone to try different foods and not worry about gluten. Definitely try the empanadas!

Oh my gosh!! This menu is awesome!!! We split the fried plantain appetizer and the seafood paella along with an arepa. Everything was so flavorful and tasty. Highly recommend the paella. We were too full for dessert. Dedicated gf restaurant!!! Eat here!!

Tips

Not celiac

There was a bit of a language barrier on gluten free with the staff. Sign of a good ethnic restaurant. Once we clarified that we were allergic to harina de trigo (flour of wheat) it was all good.

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had!

I had a cornbread chicken sandwich. The cornbread was more like bread slices, it wasn’t what I make at home for cornbread. It made for a great sandwich.

My wife and kids shared a sampler plate that was huge. They gave me some too. They loved everything. They thought the pork rinds were surprising and the most delicious.

The waiter suggested a guanabana with milk drink for the boys. They loved it; the older boy drank 1 1/2 and saved the other half for the next morning.

I thought the empanada appetizers were fine. But my wife and one boy thought they were great.

Everything is gluten free

Loved the place. They mention that it’s 100% gluten free. I still tested with Nima and it came back gluten free. Got empanada and chicken sandwich and a couple of other dishes I don’t remember. Everything was delicious as well. Tested all the sauces as well. All smile on Nima. Didn’t get sick either 😀

The food was phenomenal and the menu is almost entirely GF. Nice location and friendly knowledgeable staff. My very sensitive Celiac son did not get sick, which makes this place a winner for us.

Excellent food. Made fresh to order. The only downside is, on Friday night, our dinner took nearly an hour to arrive at our table. Very pleasant server. 😊

Loved this place! The green chile empanada was awesome! Great food. Great little hole in the wall. Safe for Celiac's. Give yourself enough time though as the staff is small since it's a small establishment. Will definitely be back!!!!

I have celiac and am extremely sensitive to cross-contamination. I have eaten here three times with no reaction. The food is wonderful, comforting and beautifully presented, and the service is excellent and caring. I love the atmosphere--casual, fresh and clean. This restaurant is a real find for anyone with gluten sensitivity or celiac. Yummm!

Outstanding food and reasonably priced!! It was wonderful being able to order anything off the menu! We had empanadas (chicken and green chili), yuca frita, patacones con hogao, bandeja paisa, and the arepa sandwich. Wonderful flavors and we all left very satisfied. We were on a road trip but will be back for sure!! (Wish we lived closer)

I might have to move to Albuquerque just to be near this restaurant!! For starters, it was fun to be able to choose anything from the regular menu instead of being relegated to a gluten free menu. The food was amazing!! My husband and I started with a beef empanada and fried sweet plantains. Both were perfection. I ordered the vegetarian plate with came with beans and rice and salad. It all was quite possibly the best food I have ever eaten. My husband's arroz con pollo was also amazing. To top it off, the staff was very hospitable and helpful. We definitely recommend this place.
