Very aware of coeliacs the staff were awesome and so was the food!

Tried to call ahead but couldn’t get through. When I went, I told the server I was celiac - and they said it wasn’t a problem. I was recommended the smashed potatoes from the breakfast menu, but became sick from eating it. Not sure if it was cross contamination or the ingredients themselves, but personally I wouldn’t come back.

super nice italian restaurant. coeliacs can have almost everything on the menu, just not the pasta section and the odd menu item that can't be substituted. Been here twice, both times great. This restaurant is part of the Hip group, look up online as there are lots of eateries and they are all good options for GF (ortolana, takapuna beach cafe etc).
