my dad, sister, and i (celiac) ate here while we were staying in a nearby hotel and i can confidently say that was the BEST gluten free burger i’ve had. i did the build your own burger with a kids patty, gluten free bun, american cheese, pickles, and ketchup and a side of fries. they had a whole bunch of other gluten free options im so excited to try the next time we’re in chicago. my family who isn’t gluten free were also incredibly happy with their meals. and the service was incredible as well, just so friendly and willing to help.
All of the accolades are right on. I had a tasty burger, onion petals, and cajun fries and they were all quite good!
My whole family loved this place. So many great Gf options including fried onion petals. It’s been a decade since I’ve had anything like that and it was amazing. You can tell the burgers were higher quality meat (grass fed) and everything we got was delicious.

Unbelievable place!!!! Service was incredible! Immediately noted my gluten allergy and alerted the kitchen. Burgers were exactly how we asked them to make it. Fries were pretty good too. Great vibe. Christmas decor all over the place. Very cozy. Wings are GINORMOUS!! A little pricy but for how much food you are getting the overall quality… it makes total sense and is so worth it. Nothing negative whatsoever. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Try!!!!!

The perfect pit stop if you’re taking someone to or picking someone up from the airport! They’re super helpful when asking questions and very accommodating. The cashier confirmed they have a dedicated space in the kitchen for gluten free orders and they also were able to do a hot dog in a hamburger bun, kind of like a Chicago hot dog taco. It was great! Plus cheese fries!!! They have a dedicated fryer. This was my second time visiting and both experiences were great.
This place is great for people with celiac or trying to eat gluten free. Lots of options including buns, fried chicken sandwich and tenders, fries, and almost everything else as long as you don’t use a regular bun. My wife has celiac and has never gotten sick from eating here
Love this place. Eaten here plenty of times. Lots of gluten free items. Their Bison burger is yummy. You can’t find grass fed meat in a lot of places. Expensive, but quality is worth the price.

All the food that is fried is gluten free. I had the southwest chicken sandwich and it was delicious!
I probably wouldn’t have found this spot without this app and now I’m so excited to have a new GF spot to go to. Majority of their menu can be made GF and there is definitely no shortage of choices! I got the Southern Outlaw sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!
Had a Turkey burger with fries..excellent! I would definitely go back. Went back for another Turkey burger and fries. This is my go to place. They were out of wings (oh so delicious) so I ordered a couple of chicken tacos as well. They were awesome!!
My mom and I went to here before a concert. I am gluten free and she is all gluten. Everything was amazing! They recently had added gf fried mushroom, which we tried and they were fire!! We also got the onion petals they were tasty but I like the mushrooms better. I got a spicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was very tasty and juicy. But it was a bit spicy for me. My mom got a burger and she said that it was one of the best burgers she had had all year. The service was great, they were very friendly and speedy!
The food was delicious! The gluten free fries (which were made in a separate fryer) were great! They have a gluten free menu. I got the half basket shrimp, it was amazing! My dad is not gluten sensitive and he enjoyed his wild burger and garlic parmesan fries. So it is a great place for both people who are sensitive to gluten and for people who aren’t sensitive to gluten!
This was my first time at the new location. Excellent service and good food. Lots of things you would not expect like fried options. Enjoyed a tasty burger, fries and fried onion slices.

My husband and I visited this place for dinner last night , very knowledgeable on gf . A lot of options , I had a gf burger with bun and fries are gf , made in gf fryer . They also had a gf brownie, I had no issues . I must say extremely delicious, my husband was very impressed .we will visit the American Wildburger again .
This place was real good! Got the southwest grilled avocado with chicken! They marked GF on my order and told the kitchen staff too. Plenty of options here and the fries are gluten free too. Minus a Heart because it’s not dedicated GF.

Gluten free heaven! Hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos and FRIES! Plus variety in all of these items! I had the turkey burger with sweet potato fries. This is my new favorite restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff.
This place makes me so happy. Many fried options that are celiac safe. This is the only place I can find chicken tenders, which just bring a smile to my face. I’ve never gotten sick.
Really great family business with so many gluten free options and the service was amazing! Everything is clearly labeled since I talked to the owner and they have many family members who are gluten intolerant so they are very careful with food preparation and cross contamination. Highly recommend!
Casual spot for burgers and fries +. Almost everything is gf, we really appreciated all the options. You can customize your burger so many ways as well as your fries. Very good burger and decent fries. Steak tacos were very tasty. They were super helpful and marked both my kiddos’ orders as an allergy.

Overall, a very positive experience. They have a 100% gluten free fryer and a wide range of menu options. The menu is clearly marked, though I did have to enquire about the toppings (they were not marked on the menu). The bun is not from a brand that I recognize, but it is definitely different when compared to my friends’ buns. Staff was generally knowledgeable, but there was something slightly concerning that occurred during my dining experience. I did have to ask the staff to explicitly change their gloves when preparing my food, which should be a given once I told them about my celiac and the severity of it. They were more than happy to accommodate when I told them, but it should nonetheless be an ingrained practice as soon as they hear “gluten-free”. Still, I overall had a positive experience and so long as someone knows the right questions/accommodations to ask for, it can be a safe and enjoyable establishment to visit.

The food was delicious and it's not like many other places because you get to choose what you get on your burger. And the French Fries were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!

A MUST visit if you have celiac! So many gf options AND a dedicated fryer!
Warning! My son was halfway through a chicken sandwich and the inside was RAW. Since you pre-pay, we informed the manager/owner and asked for the money back. The owner then yelled at us and asked us to leave. I am waiting for my child to vomit from food poisoning and I’m guessing with this sort of complete disregard for safety, symptoms for being glutened won’t be far behind. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I’m calling the health department.
No chicken when we were here today but the burgers were great!!
They definitely have gluten free items. The chicken sandwiches and tenders are fantastic! The burgers are also delicious. Lots of options for regular and gluten free food. The online ordering is easy to use. If you do not see something that they normally have, just call and they will let you know if they have it or not. The food it always hot and the seasoning is great.

When you get to the counter and there is a sign that says the fryers are gluten free it makes you feel great. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. I had cheese fries too. This place is awesome. Go there if you are in the area.
AMAZING GF FRIED FOOD! Got chicken tenders, onion petals, fries, fried shrimp, and fried chicken sandwich. Very good and safe! Family owned and owner’s sister has celiac so very knowledgeable
Amazing place! Had a GF fried chicken sandwich with the Parmesan garlic French fries. SO yummy!!! My husband and son both loved their sandwiches as well but they had them on a gluten filled bun so I didn’t try a bite of theirs. Servings were huge and staff was very friendly.

I love this place!! They take having a gluten allergy very seriously. Best gluten-free burger I’ve had. Their fryers are dedicated gluten free. I haven’t had onion rings since before being diagnosed with celiac and they are fantastic. I’ve also had their wings and they are really good. I haven’t had an issue from eating here. I want to try more of the gluten free foods they offer. I
