Warning! My son was halfway through a chicken sandwich and the inside was RAW. Since you pre-pay, we informed the manager/owner and asked for the money back. The owner then yelled at us and asked us to leave. I am waiting for my child to vomit from food poisoning and I’m guessing with this sort of complete disregard for safety, symptoms for being glutened won’t be far behind. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I’m calling the health department.

They definitely have gluten free items. The chicken sandwiches and tenders are fantastic! The burgers are also delicious. Lots of options for regular and gluten free food. The online ordering is easy to use. If you do not see something that they normally have, just call and they will let you know if they have it or not. The food it always hot and the seasoning is great.

When you get to the counter and there is a sign that says the fryers are gluten free it makes you feel great. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. I had cheese fries too. This place is awesome. Go there if you are in the area.

Amazing place! Had a GF fried chicken sandwich with the Parmesan garlic French fries. SO yummy!!! My husband and son both loved their sandwiches as well but they had them on a gluten filled bun so I didn’t try a bite of theirs. Servings were huge and staff was very friendly.

Nice little quick stop. Super impressed with all the gluten-free options. They even did gluten-free fried onion petals which were so so good. A family member is gluten-free so they were very cautious and aware. Fryers are dedicated gluten-free, in fact, I think the chicken tenders were even GF because it looks like they had cornmeal on them. GF burger buns were very good, not the traditional Udi’s.

I am so glad to have found this place! I was tired from the usual place I order from for a burger that I trust to be GF so based on the other reviews, I decided to give it a try. I had my order delivered but called to make sure they knew it was an allergy. The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and told me about the dedicated fryer and even the toaster for the buns without me even asking about it yet. The burger and fries were so good. The best I've had since I went GF 12 years ago.

Wow! This place is a gem! Flew into Ohare, picked up the car and ordered online for pick up - just a couple minutes to drive over. Online ordering was very easy to customize and very clear to select gluten free. Had the fried chicken sandwich (breaded gf!!) and the hot dog on a pickle instead of a bun (absolutely amazing and genius) plus fries. Pickup was quick and friendly — we have a new O’Hare favorite!

I've eaten here many times without issue, and the fries are even gluten free. There was one order I made not to long ago that seemingly had different buns so I called to make sure they were gluten free and the staff on the phone said, hesitantly, that they were. What a joke. Went here with my family based on good reviews. The cashier had no idea what celiac was and couldn’t even tell us what was gluten free. We were in and out in less than 2 minutes. Not sure where the other reviews came from but don’t waste your time.

Don’t let this tiny place fool you into thinking it’s not safe. I have gone here multiple times and have never gotten sick. I’m always impressed that such a tiny location can make fantastic burgers with gluten free buns and still make it safe for me. This place is AMAZING. Small, order at counter place. But from the second you walk in, you know you will be eating safe. They were out of wings for my gluten eating husband but he said the burger was good. My fried chicken sandwich was HUGE and sooo good. And I also got gluten free onion petals, which were good. Not dedicated gluten free restaurant, because they do have regular buns but nothing goes in the fryers that has gluten. We were checked on multiple times by the two owners, and one of them even brought over two gluten free meatballs to try. They are SOOO friendly and what the best part? They feed the homeless every Friday.

Wow! What a find! This place is a family owned business and they really take care to cater to people with allergies. They have so many gluten free options including a bunch of fried goodies! We accidentally over ordered and the portion sizes were very generous. We had the wings, fried onion, fries, chicken sandwich and burgers. The GF fried chicken sandwich was so tasty and cooked perfectly. The wings were massive. The burgers came out cooked exactly like they were ordered. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are GF I highly recommend you come check this place out and support a local restaurant! They also have Glutenberg gf beer! 10/10

Lets give some love to this family owned business. The hospitality of the owner was great. The food was awesome AND there are many gluten free options available to include GF crispy chicken GF shrimp. GF chicken strips and GF buns. I stayed at the Hilton O’Hare and this was the best GF option outside the hotel. Grubhub delivers and they take GF very seriously. Also visited the place a 2nd time and met the owner. Just about everything is gluten free. I just got the cheeseburger and fries both times and no issues.

I am extremely upset and in utter shock with the experience I had at American Wildburger this afternoon. I frequent this location often due to having celiac disease and the precautions they put in line. Mind you me and my boyfriend travel an hour just to come enjoy food that is safe for me. I called 30 minutes before we arrived to see if they were accepting reservations for their out door cabins. I was told by a gentlemen on the phone that they are first come first serve and reservations are not needed, so we made the trip out. Once we arrived and before we ordered we asked if the cabins were available, we were told they are only accepting reservations that can be made online. We decided to wait for our food and eat in the car since we drove an hour away. The customers behind us were placing their order and a employee walked over to them and said they had a cabin open up. We then brought it to their attention that we just asked for a cabin and was denied, wondering why that was. The employee then told us that they gave it away to them and there was nothing they can do. Then, after standing for a few minutes in disbelief, we decided to ask for a refund on our meal because of the way we were treated. We were then approached by another gentlemen that we thought was going to make things right but instead aggressively started pointing out “all of the things we did wrong” and that we should of asked him instead of the cashier for a cabin. He then got extremely aggressive with his body language and told us we were trying to take a cabin away from a pregnant women when all we wanted was an explanation on why customers that were behind us were offered a cabin even though we called to confirm and asked right when we arrived. It’s unfortunate because we would never expect this from them being avid customers. I’m in disbelief over their customer service....

Dedicated gluten-free fryer! Nothing gluten goes inside (their fried shrimp and chicken tenders...those are deliciously gluten-free too!). The french fries are so crispy and so good. Make sure to say “gluten-free” when you’re ordering—the owners have trained the staff to be cautious. They have gluten-free buns or will do a lettuce wrap for your burger. The Wild Fries are astounding though. Portions are huge, ingredients are fresh, and there are a ton of combinations.

We had gluten free chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and fries, which they confirmed to be in a separate fryer from gluten foods. We also had a burger on a GF bun. They marked our order as a gluten allergy to note needing extra care. The whole family loved the food. We will be going back again (soon).

I told the cashier I had celiac & he nodded. I ordered what I believed was a gluten free meal & when the meal arrived it was covered in a sauce that was most definitely not gluten free. I ended up not eating at all

Great gf burger, fries and chicken tenders. They also have some gf brownies for dessert.
