Amuse! Update:6/12/19 Another amazing meal last night! Fresh local sea bass and soft shell crabs. Don’t miss the hen in the woods mushrooms. Called ahead and Glen checked with Chef for allergen friendly meals. Menu changes daily and most items can be tweaked to suit. Great food, professional and friendly service. My husband added “when we come in we come home. Wonderful staff treat as honored family guests. My meal would have made any master chef jealous.”

Original review Recognizing blessings!! So glad we had an epic fail at the 1st choice restaurant just around the corner!!! I won't go into details but arriving at Amuse was the opposite experience of the first! We were cheerfully invited in and a cozy and warm welcome ensued. Assured they could and wanted, too make our birthday evening memorable. They succeeded!! Details, details! It's in every nook and cranny, from unique bathroom decor, walls and unique epicurean delights! A meal that will be remembered and a gauge for many meals to come. They don't have a gluten free menu and you don't need one! This restaurant doesn't cookie cutter a menu day in and day out. It's a delightful laboratory of new taste sensations daily. This Chef/owner loves creating fun, tastebud fitness and art with food. They recognize that spectacular, fresh ingredients should direct a menu not the easy and assured schedules of a food delivery company who cares of profits first! Bravo!! Danny, our information guide and server, expertly and enthusiastically, confirmed our choices could be gluten free and minus my additional allergy of pork. One elite interesting local ingredient that won the daily artistic choice was our first taste of oyster root. Such fun! For the quality of food and the dynamic blendings, this is a real experience in value and adventure. Since the menu changes daily and our items were specifically crafted for us, I won't detail specific dishes. Excellent food experiences should border on orgasmic and this meal did. The starter, beef tartare with kimchi and rice chips! WOW!! Followed with continued goodness by entrees featuring local scallops that were buttery and fresh. The lamb was paired with a refreshingly unique roller coaster of flavors. The onions that came with it were hands down the most amazing tasting onions we have ever tasted. Dessert continued to raise the bar with a popcorn and Carmel affair with shattered goodness! I celebrate the Chef and staff. Food can be art and a masterpiece we were delivered! Here! Here! We will be back! They also have a small patio that we didn't examine.
