NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY. they do not accommodate for serious gluten free allergies. I asked and they do not have a separate cooking area and cross contamination is almost guaranteed. please don’t risk it

We only got pastries so I can’t speak to any of the meals. They had a good selection of GF pastries, including some that were vegan if you need that as well. They were kept in separate cases from the other pastries and when we ordered, the cashier offered to pack the non-GF ones for my family first and then wash hands before packing the GF ones separately. The only thing that made me slightly nervous was that a different employee fulfilled our order and they had GF and regular marionberry scones, so I’m assuming she understood and got the GF ones and not regular. I don’t blame them for making the same flavor but it’s a lot easier to feel safer when the flavors are completely different. The scone and lemon bar I tried were very good with good texture and they didn’t crumble. My daughter ordered a vanilla cupcake but our to go order was instead packed with a chocolate one and she said the chocolate cake didn’t have any flavor and she just ate the frosting off the top.

This is a nice little bakery. Our family has been here quite a few times over the years and have never gotten sick. My kids all got sweet bakery things, and my husband and I got a generous helping of soup and cornbread. Many of the options are also dairy free.

The gf/ vegan coffee cake muffin is to die for! Seriously, they are some of the best gf baked goods I’ve had in a long time. They keep all of their gf items in a separate case, and they are cautious about cross-contact. The person ringing us up was more than happy to answer my questions.

Excellent variety of gf scones, breads and other goodies, displayed separately from the other non-gf items. Highly recommended.

I went to this bakery on the way home from Bend today and it honestly had some of the best gluten free baked goods that I’ve ever had. The cupcakes were a bit dry, but the scones and cookies were incredible. I highly recommend going here if you want a gluten free baked goods.

I specifically called ahead of time and ask them if they could accommodate someone with celiac disease for breakfast and if they had processes in place for cross-contamination. I was told yes. When we got there (the day we were departing and needed to be at the airport) I was told that they did not have a separate toaster like I was told on the phone and the manager said she didn't feel comfortable serving someone with celiac disease because cutting boards are shared etc. All I could have was a prepared muffin for breakfast (and other sweet treats if i wanted sugar overload for breakfast) and I was starving. I had better success at the airport in Redmond.

While they have a great review here and have quite a few GF options in the restaurant, there is an obvious disconnect from what GF actually means. My daughter and I ordered GF wraps and then she got a GF cookie after. An hour or so after we left we had to pull over so that her body could try and remove the gluten that she had just been contaminated with. Unfortunately this happened five more times today, three of which were on the way home. I really do get the risks of a restaurant that is not 100% GF, but when nearly half of your menu list itself as GF you would think you would know what you are doing. I would avoid this if at all possible!

When I stepped up to the counter to ask about a gluten free sandwich, the woman behind the counter curled her lip like she had smelled manure and sarcastically "Wellll, I guess we COULD put it on rice bread for you". I got the message, they do not want our business. Go down the road a to road to the Depot.

Angeline's Cafe is very helpful. I have been eating here since before I found out I had Celiacs. It is a shared facility but they do a good job of talking to you about what is safe and what isn't so you can make an informed choice.

Delicious! We got GF Pizza with cheese (vegan from soy) polenta crust, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes and garlic. Also got enchiladas (dairy) with black beans, corn and other yummies. Wish there was a place like this near home!
