Everything was great with lots of options. Well marked and can prep in a separate area if requested. Highly recommend. We don’t really eat here anymore, but not because of gluten free. I still think it’s a decently safe place to eat, but the food is just okay. It’s the place I take my parents because it has things they will eat as well.
No cross-contamination. I think it's a separate area(?) Milford has two separate kitchens to avoid cross contamination. Offer GF DF V Vg. Can make adjustments as well, they have dairy free cheese. Wait staff with smiles and friendly. Atmosphere open and roomy, decor light & airy. Not a long wait once order in. Went 2 days in a row and same service, some different people, so seems consistent. Food delicious! I had omelette, Belgian waffle with blueberries, and a reuben- it had been since 2013!
We were in from out of town and chose this restaurant based on the reviews here. It was a great choice. We ordered online, and the menu was so clearly marked with what was GF or DF and with allergens. When I selected a GF item, there was a checkbox on the order form where I could check “Celiac”, and it printed that in all caps on the order form. Food was great, and it felt very safe. You can tell they take allergies and intolerances very seriously. The food was delicious. The restaurant is also very cute (went in to pick up the food).
The breakfast lasagna (GF) was excellent. Hash browns were too done for me but I am sure if I had told them they would have replaced them. Didn't see the point since theblasagna was a generous portion and I knew I couldn't finish it as it was. my companion had the GF pancakes with bananas and pecans. we forgot to specify GF and they remade them as gluten free at no cost. the server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal including sending us home with extra sauce and some syrup.
I have been here countless times, and it never disappoints! I feel like I’ve tried half their menu at this point- the pancakes are scrumptious, the toast is delicious (and made in a dedicated toaster), the eggs are fluffy, and the crepes are TO DIE for!! Treat yourself to a trip to Anna’s house whenever you’re in the area!
It’s a great place for people with gluten allergy. But I wouldn’t recommend getting the pancakes. I have celiac and last two times I got them I got sick after so there’s probably cross contamination or something. But the cinnamon roll, toast, hash browns and other foods are awesome! I will be going back but staying away from the pancakes:/
We stopped here on vacation and were so impressed. So many options I didn’t know what to try. The breakfast lasagna sold out so I didn’t get to try it but I enjoyed the tater tot casserole and gf French toast. I got a cinnamon roll to go and while it wasn’t cheap it lasted me two breakfasts. And was fabulous!
We found this restaurant using this app. Wow!! What an awesome find! Our waiter was very aware of gf offerings. Our whole family enjoyed the brunch, both gf and not. Use the yelp waiting if during morning and lunchtime. We got there after 1 and got seated immediately. I highly recommend!!
We came here for my birthday specifically because of the GF options on the menu. I was wowed by my meal! I ordered the breakfast lasagna and I can honestly say it was the beat breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Absolutely amazing, and SO many options. We decided we are going back once a month!
OMG. We went al 3 days we were in town. The cinnamon roll is to die for. Loved to French toast. Beat GF menu.
Cute place, love the atmosphere
I literally almost cried at my first bite of GF cinnamon roll because it was so good. It was also my first time having crepes in 10 years. The portions are great for the price and I had to take home two boxes. I'm overjoyed at this place
My favorite place to eat in Ann Arbor! I’ve never felt safer eating at a restaurant. The staff is SO careful with celiac orders (as long as you mention that you are celiac) and are more than happy to make your food in their separate kitchen. Almost the entire menu is/can be made gf and I eat her several times a month with no problems. I could not recommend more, for celiacs and those who are not (all the food tastes delicious, even to non-celiacs!).
I have been twice. Once April 23 and again on June 10th. They explained how they have a gluten free kitchen and how my order would not come out with the rest of the table b/c it went in separately. Lots of gluten free options and GF bread. I went for lunch in April and was so full that I did not eat dinner! Reasonable prices and cheery decor.
Has a second dedicated-gluten-free kitchen. Most menu items can be made gluten-free. Also friendly to dairy-free and vegan.
Lots of GF options but cross contamination is obviously present. I got sick and I know it was from Anna's House because I had leftovers and it happened again the day I ate them. Pretty disappointed given all the rave reviews but this place is NOT celiac safe if you are sensitive to CC. Food was also surprisingly not that good.
