I had the Gluten free chicken tenders (I’m gluten intolerant not Celiac) and they were pretty good and I had no reaction. Definitely a great little dive bar

I came here for lunch had the arts salad. I informed the server that I had a gluten allergy and asked if the dressing was gluten free since everything else seemed to be safe. She wasn’t sure so she swapped it the dressing out for one she knew was safe (I think the balsamic). It was really good!

Great little place! I had gluten free baked chicken on a cherry salad with dark cherry vinaigrette! So yummy! And they didn’t over charge me like a lot of places do for gluten free! Bonus! I want to go back and try the gluten free chocolate cake next!

We came here for breakfast. I am gluten free and so is my daughter (8). My husband and sons are not gluten free. I asked very nicely if they could make eggs and bacon, noting we are gluten free (said allergy even though celiac). Waitress was really short with us and said they can’t make any of their food safe for us. So my daughter and I went to the grocery store down the street so we could eat. It was clear we were not welcome there and I wouldn’t go back.

Not sure how or why they have such a great rating on here. Went for breakfast which is usually a somewhat easier option for us at non-GF friendly restaurants and the waitress balked at even my ask about Gluten Free options. Worst excuse for a restaurant ever.

This bar has always been a staple, especially for late night snacks and drinks. They have a great selection of local ciders and have done a really good job of identifying items on the menu that are “gluten free”; although I wouldn’t recommend it if you are very sensitive or have an allergy because of contact with other foods.

The first time I went, when I asked if there was a reason the salads were not considered gluten friendly (not sure why that term?) the waitress told me that it may be that they are prepared any the same area as gluten foods. I ended up getting gluten friendly chilli, grilled chicken and a baked potato. (Same waitress informed me that the tater tots go in the fryer that everything goes in.) Chilli was good but kind of tasted like a spicy ketchup. Grilled chicken had no flavor. The second time I went we went there during breakfast hours and they were serving breakfast only. To my surprise nothing on the breakfast menu was "gluten friendly". When this waitress asked what I wanted to order I sadly said "no, there's nothing on the menu that I can eat". She was very kind and asked me if I had allergies and I told her yes, she replied by asking me if there was anything on the lunch menu that I could have. I asked her if I could do the gluten friendly chicken tenders. She let me know it would take awhile because she just turned on the oven for me. Then she made sure to keep letting me know how long it would be when she served everyone else at my table. The chicken tenders were very good. (Although they were very expensive. Remember it is cash or check only.) I did not get sick either time. Overall, I am happy I was able to go out to eat with my inlaws.

They did not have a gluten free menu as advertised. All they had were buns. The waitress we had was super rude to us under eighteen, but she was a suck-up to the adults who were paying our bill. Would not go back again.

These guys are great! The menu identifies gluten free items (I got a burger on a GF bun & side cup of chili), and they even have GF chicken fingers on the kids menu. They have some gluten-omitted beers, and at least one gf dessert. The service was super friendly, and the food was good. The only thing I'd say is that the prices seemed a little steep for the types of food they serve. However, to have tasty gluten free options as a bar & grille burger place, I'll pay a little more. :)

Amazing burgers! The fries and tots are in shared oil but order a side of chili instead. It's delicious. They understand celiac and will take care of you.

Art's is a Glen Arbor classic! They have awesome burgers and now available with GF buns. They also have GF chicken tenders and GF pizza crust. Sadly their world famous tater tots are in shared oil, but if you come in the winter and the pizza oven isn't too busy, they are sometimes willing to bake some tots for you! 2 GF beers available as well.
