Very good chicken fingers and fries. Didn’t feel sick at all. I didn’t feel like they were 100 percent knowledgeable with gluten, but they did know enough to know the chicken and fries were cooked separately. Would eat here again.

Astro has the best GF chicken strips and fries in a dedicated GF fryer as well as GF buns. We eat here all the time and never have a reaction. Service is always super friendly.

Never disappointed unless they're out of gluten free chicken strips. The owner assured me that even his ranch and fry sauce are gluten free and that they use a dedicated fryer. As a decently sensitive celiac, I really appreciate this delicious option for fast food. I also really enjoy their gluten free cheese burgers, they're delicious!

I called to ask about the dedicated fryer and gf buns. They had both! My husband and I ordered the Astro burger and fries. They were amazing! When I told the staff that I get very ill with any gluten at all, they assured me they would make my order gf. Since it takes a couple days to get sick, I don't know yet if they did, but the food tasted fantastic!

The girl taking my order told me that the chicken strips are not gluten free and they don’t have any gluten free options. My husband just ordered regular chicken strips for himself and they looked exactly like what I was given a few weeks ago and told it was gluten free. They don’t have a clue what they’re doing there.

I ate at this location many times this past year with no issues, but recently I have been having problems with cross contamination. I decided to give it another try today and the bun was definitely gf but I think the fries may not have been as I am in a lot of pain. I’m really sad because I loved eating here but I just don’t trust it anymore

I’ve eaten at this location 3 times in the last 2 months. The lettuce-wrapped Astro burger is excellent. They also have GF buns, I just prefer lettuce-wrapped version. Great fries! And they keep it very clean. There is one employee assigned to continually disinfect/clean as customers come and go. I trust this place for gluten free food.

This has become my go-to for a good burger since diagnosed celiac. The gf bun is delicious, the staff are very knowledgable, and the fries are cooked in a dedicated frier! I’ve eaten here many times and have never gotten sick!

Yummy! I had to get there Astro burger! Amazing and the best gluten free bun! It was just like the crown burger! I have CD and haven’t had a GF pastrami burger in over 3 years! It definitely was GF because I’m not sick at all. It was made fresh, the people working there knew how to make it!

Heard about their GF menu options from a co-worker so thought I'd give it a try. Was hesitant as I'm newly diagnosed Celiac and so far bread and tortillas were nasty. I was pleasantly surprised their GF bun tasted like their normal bun! They also explained they have a GF dedicated fryer and also bag GF items separate in drive thru. Definitely will keep going back as they were a fave before diagnosis!

After reading the reviews and calling ahead we felt comfortable eating here during our one night in SLC. The actions in the restaurant made us far less comfortable. The cook had to be reminded to change his gloves, and he grilled the buns on the same grill with the regular buns, so he had to start over. In the end my daughter didn't get sick, but even after making sure they took proper precautions we were nervous.

Literally one of my favorite fast food sit down restaurants (if you know what I mean) they are always knowledgeable about gf I always get the bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun with fries and it never disappoints. one of my favorite things about this place is that since its Greek I always ditch the sauce and dil my fries in mayo which is sooooo good!!! one of my favorite places to dine. I have never gotten sick here and would definitely recommend.

Separate Grier for fries! Great buns. They do charge for them but at least you get a bun! We have 3 who are gf so this is a go to place go our family.

First choice when the family feels like having a good GF burger and fries. Wife and 2 daughters have celiac, me and 2 other kids do not. Great food, and they do a good job to keep my girls safe and happy. Never had a problem or concern. All smiles and full bellies.

Confirmed briefly when ordering about GF again. I have learned to call ahead and find out all the details discretely by phone. Got a bacon cheeseburger w/gf bun and fries cooked in their own dedicated fryer. (I seriously don't know why most restaurants don't do this just to keep french fries tasting like fries instead of some weird onion ring conglomeration.) Had all the fixings: ketchup, mustard, house sauce, and fry sauce.

Kept the hamburger in the paper wrap to eat so I did not notice if the bun fell apart or not. Was just happy that gluten free has become so popular.

If you're a real Celiac I wouldn't suggest eating here ever. I've been horribly sick almost every single time I have eaten here. I didn't want to give up because there aren't many fast food options but I couldn't deal with the horrid pain anymore!

I've been a few times now with no problem, but on Wednesday I got glutened. My husband ordered a regular combo and I got a GF burger thinking I could just share a few of his fries. Turns out if you don't ask for GF fries, they won't be GF. My fault- I should have known. After the last few days, I'll never assume again!

I've always loved charcoal broiled burgers and was so grateful to find they now had GF buns. Like most GF buns, there's a LOT of bread, but it's very tasty. Love the fries too. Haven't tried anything else there, but it's great to get a good burger once in awhile.

Eating at Astro Burger was a good experience. I decided to try the place after reading the reviews. I was very delighted to find one more place that served GF.

I got the double cheese burger, and even though they said they had GF buns I wasn't expecting much out of the bun. I found a place while on vacation in Atlanta, GA that had GF buns, but their bun fell apart before I was half through. But the Astro bun wss fantastic in taste, texture, and durability. I actually thought I was given a regular bun by mistake. It was light, chewie, with no graininess. The meat was charbroiled, which wss flavorful, but a little dry. They have a GF devoted fryer, which was great. The fries aren't freshly made, but they were good.

I talked to the on-duty manager about the buns as I left, and told him how great thier GF bun was. He told me that he'd gladly sell me the buns at his cost if I wanted some. It would definitely be worth the expense (probably $1 to $1.50 each), which isn't too far from the ones I've seen sold as hamburger buns it in stores, but which weigh more and are more dense.

Overall a very good experience. My rating of 4 stars is only because I considered the meat a bit too dry, but still tasty. (7-10-12)

Love this place! The gluten free bun was amazing too! They even give you gluten free fry sauce! They also use a separate fryer for the gluten free stuff! I didn't get sick at all an it was amazing! Felt like a kid again at McDonalds getting my Happy Meal mix! Lol
