Excellent gluten free options. Food was fantastic and service was very friendly. You will need a reservation to get in. I am celiac and had no issues.

We notified them of celiac and the waitress was great about it. They have a dedicated fryer and will swap the buns out for GF buns on the burgers and sandwiches. We ordered the Reuben sandwich, the fish sandwich, and truffle fries. Tasted great! Girlfriend did not explode.

Avalon Gastropub was AMAZING! Clearly marked GF menu with many options. Dedicated fryer. Truffle fries and Brussel Sprouts are out of this world. Fantastic staff! Thank you for a safe dining experience. Best GF meal I’ve had on our trip to Oahu and Kauai. Wish they were open the remainder of our stay here!

Menu is clearly labeled and the food is delicious. Also excellent specialty cocktails. I would recommend a reservation as we watch the waitstaff turn several folks away who didn’t have one. We were bummed that we couldn’t return here on our vacation as they were closed several days for the 4th.

Make a reservation. They were turning people away without one. The menu was clearly labelled with gluten free options. Server was great and answered all our questions even verified with the chef on a daily special. Gluten free buns are available for the burgers and were surprisingly spongy and very tasty. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Wish we'd eaten here before the last day of the trip and could of gone back for more.

We had such a great experience eating here! I have celiac, but everyone else I was with are gluten eaters. There were tons of options for me and it was delicious. They have a gluten free fryer, so all naturally gluten free fried options are celiac safe. I had truffle fries and the Caesar salad and both were delicious. Tons of yummy drink options also. The server was celiac herself and was very knowledgeable. My gluten eating little brother said it was the best mea he’s had in a long time. Everyone was happy; highly recommend!

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and loved it! I have celiac and did not have any reaction whatsoever. The fries are cooked in a dedicated gluten free fryer and the staff is very knowledgeable! We went for dinner and there was a little bit of a wait, so if you don’t make a reservation, plan accordingly.

Everything was well labeled and they have a dedicated gf fryer. My son was thrilled to have french fries on the island. They even had workarounds for other items. Everything we had was delicious. They even had multiple gf desserts. The truffle fries were incredible. No kids menu but my boys both loved their meals. Everyone wants to go back next time we return to the island. Both my son and I with celiac did not get contaminated. They were knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Fries were great, they were very knowledgeable. Didn’t care for the Brussels sprouts but I could see others liking them. They have a dedicated fryer and are knowledgable. Two GF dessert options.

What a find! Cool little pub and tons of GF options. Staff was totally aware of cross contamination issues. Dedicated fryer means wings and fries are safe! Our celiac had the wings followed by steak and fries. We also got to enjoy desert which is so rare for a GF kid. All was wonderful. Call for hours. We showed up one day for lunch and they were closed, when FB posted hours said they were open. Not a good place for little kids, our 6 year old ended up eating a pile of French fries. No kids menu as of March 2019, so it’s just what’s on the small plate menu. Our celiac is older and a foodie, so he was more than happy!

Knowledgeable staff, very good service, kind & accommodating. Food is excellent (delicious!) with great options and a dedicated fryer. The owner’s daughter is a celiac and offering truly celiac safe gluten free options is important to this establishment. Definitely worth a visit.

They have everything marked on their menu that is GF along with a note that gf bread options can be substituted instead of regular. We got the fish sandwich and fries. The bun was delicious and didn’t fall apart and the fries were perfect, cooked in the dedicated fryer!

Wow! Who would have thought that some of the best celiac-safe food we’d find would be in Kauai? A must-visit no matter your diet, but especially if you’re Celiac. The truffle fries were fantastic. The Classic Burger with homemade pickles and tomato sauce were the highlight. And the flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée were extremely memorable. We visited twice, but I wish we could have gone back every day!

This restaurant is the best! I am a celiac and my family and I came here and fell in love with it! We even came back the night after for dinner because it’s so good. There’s great service and incredible food. This is a must!

Food was delicious! My boyfriend had the lamb and it was just amazing. I had the house salad with grilled fish. Super happy about the dedicated fryer, it's so rare to be able to eat chips! We had the truffle fries which were also soooo good. Plenty of gf options and the staff know what's up. Portion sizes are maybe a little small if you're super hungry but that was the only thing we could say was less than perfect

I was so happy we found this place. Dedicated gluten free fryer, gluten free buns available, and many other gluten free options available. And the flourless chocolate cake was divine. My husband (not celiac) also had an amazing meal.

My wife (gluten sensitive) and I (celiac) had dinner at Avalon Gastropub. They are very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten-free issues. We both had cheeseburgers and they have gluten-free hamburger buns, which my wife said were excellent. (I couldn’t have them because they contain egg.) They also have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, so she had french fries and I had sweet potato fries. We shared a salad with a truffle vinaigrette. Everything was great. Also, it’s been 24 hours, and absolutely no symptoms of being glutened.

This place is awesome! I ate here with my husband and our two girls, and we’re all gluten free (food allergies, not Celiac). They have a gluten free fryer, and they even have gluten free buns for their delicious burgers! We had a really subpar experience at Street Burger a few days ago, and this place was night and day different - wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful experience! Everyone here was pleasant, the food was delicious, and they even have gluten free coconut ice cream served with flourless chocolate cake. The food was so good!! We will definitely try to go back again before we leave the island.
