Review of Axel's Bonfire

I'm giving this a lower score because of my experience. Yes, they have a gluten free menu. I believe the GF menu is a celiac friendly menu, so they're very careful. However their gf menu is listed with things that are already gf - Meats and salads. That's fine, but you could go most places and be fine. When asking the server if she knew if the queso had gluten (I have an allergy, not celiacs) she responded with an attitude, "I don't know. I'm not a gluten expert". I don't expect them to know every ingredient, but a simple no would do. Unless you're celiac, id skip this place. The gf menu is boring, the service is slow, it's overpriced, and the servers are jerks (more than one experience here). Go to Brasa across the street where they actually try to have a delicious menu for those needing gf.
