Great new GF options! I have been here a bunch of times before and they always have GF buns and other items marked GF on the menu but have told me in the past that if I am very sensitive (I have celiac) don't eat the fries bc they don't have a dedicated fryer, sort of a disappointment since they were marked GF but I went in last night and the menu had even more GF options (chicken tenders, onion rings, fish and chips) I asked the server and she said yes they are all GF as they recently changed their breading process. I am always very nervous plus I am 8+ months pregnant and def didn't want to get sick so I asked the manager and she confirmed they now only use GF flours for breading and have friers that are totally GF. I had fish and chips they were pretty good and I didn't feel sick at all. Will definitely be going back! I wish more places would do this.

Love the burger salad (without the fried onions), you can also get any of their burgers either without a bun or on a gf bun.

GF bun was very good many of the foods may be cross contaminated but the menu distinguishes these. There is such a large variety that even with a high sensitivity you will still be able to find something!

Service is always slow but they have the best GF buns. Also the GF dessert, the B Cup is amazing. Staff is aware of cross contamination and once came out to apologize that our food would be delayed because there may have been a mistake in the kitchen and they had to prep a new GF meal.

Really big gluten free menu tons of options, manager Explains everything on the gluten free menu, no pizza or pasta. BBQ sauce is disgusting way too strong, and nachos arnt w corn chips their with potato chips, throws off expectations of what ur going to expect. Tomato cucumber salad is very small and filled w onions.

My wife's dish was served cold. The GF menu is deceiving - lot's of items on it colntain gluten; these are msrked with asterisks that are not at first noticable. The large salad I ordered was small.

While the jalapeño poppers weren’t the breaded gift from God I was hoping for, the fish and chips more than made up for it. This is GF fried heaven. Will be visiting again. Just be sure to tell the waitstaff you’re GF for medical reasons!

This place was so awesome. They only use rice flower for their breading so everything fried is naturally gluten free. I had the Parmesan garlic wings and truffle oil French fries and they were amazing. The kids menu was great because it already had marked gluten free items - so rare. My daughter had the gluten free fish sticks and tater tots and loved it! Two thumbs up from the whole family (even the not gluten free ones)! Highly recommend!

Worth the wait! Everyday there was a long wait to get in here. We went at an off time when the wait was shorter and figured out why everyone was waiting around to eat there. My son and I agreed best blue cheese burger ever combo of Bourbon BBQ sauce, caramelized onions and blue cheese was so good ! My daughter who has celiac enjoyed real chicken tenders fries not grilled and delicious French fries. My husband has the dish and chips which was outstanding also GF. They don’t have any wheat flour in the back so no worries about Cross-contamination except for the hamburger buns. They seem to have a pretty good protocol for that and the gluten-free bun was delicious on my burger. No one got sick a real treat for gluten free folks.

Took my 6 year old celiac daughter today. Food was excellent. I don't have to eat GF but wanted to give her the option of trying the burger so got my burger on a GF bun, it was very good. Probably the best bun I've had since she was diagnosed 18 months ago. Mashed potatoes were excellent, fries good, and I loved the onion rings. They were a bit too spicy for the 6 year old. Almost all of the sides were GF and there were multiple entrees that were GF and some non lettuce based salads too. We will definitely be back.

All their fried foods are GF by default. Their main fryer is dedicated GF. They have a side fryer that is for gluten-containing items. I had onion rings -- they were thick, heavy-battered, and delicious. It was a wonderful treat after going without for so long. I also had the fried chicken salad -- because hey, fried chicken, finally! -- which was good, but next time I would request the dressing on the side (personal preference). Best of all, I had no digestive issues. So many things on the menu I want to try -- can't wait to go back.

The last time I ate here, when I told the server I had celiac, he said "welcome to heaven!" And, he was totally right. This is my very favorite place to eat out in DC, and I just wish they had more locations! So, so many options for GF eaters, and very celiac friendly. The West Coast burger (fried egg, avocado, kalamata mayo) in the grass (on lettuce) is my go-to, and I really love that, among their many GF sides, they have tater tots!

Staff seemed to be knowledgeable but the waiter we had was a bit indignant when drinks came out wrong and kept telling me that I was wrong. When you have a food allergy and attention to detail seems to miss the mark it makes you eat with less confidence and therefore not enjoy the meal. We did not get sick but ate with hesitation.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant while on vacation in DC. The food and service were both fantastic and the restaurant is family friendly. Many items are clearly marked GF and items such as select burgers can be ordered GF if the bun is substituted for a GF bun. I ordered a salad with crispy chicken tenders and a side of onion rings. What a treat!!! Both were delicious and I had no issues following our meal. I highly recommend this place if you are Celiac. The restaurant staff were very knowledgeable. They asked about any other food issues/allergies and confirmed GF when they delivered our food. Excellent!
