The menu marks the small number of things that aren’t gluten free. I like the duck quesadilla and elotes best
Delicious, cute space, attentive servers and extremely celiac friendly with items clearly marked on the menu. Server was knowledgeable and gave me a heads-up about one taco that is made with a gluten-removed beer (assuming Omission). Yum!!
I got a few different tacos here and had no bad reactions whatsoever! Super delicious and the waitress was very knowledgeable on Celiac. Served on corn tortillas.
Super knowledgeable! Waitress knew exactly what I could have about have! Almost everything on the menu is GF! And delicious!!
Almost 5.. almost a huge mishap but they were very apologetic and took 25.00 off our bill. Brought out our kids with celiac tacos and quesadillas on flour tortillas. I questioned the food runner, he insisted they were corn, I tried them and they were flour. The waitress can running out and said they got the order wrong . It could have been bad but not with mama bear.
Amazing. Eat here... you don’t want to miss it!
Staff was amazing and knew about cross contamination and what all was gluten free. Also very helpful and accommodating to lactose free!
Cannot say enough good things! Almost whole menu is gluten free!! Get the pork belly taco
Lots of GF options. Nice atmosphere. Great outdoor patio. We are here twice while visiting Asheville.
This place is great! The salsa verde and guac are amazing. My favorite dish is the pork belly rice bowl. Sooooo good!!
great tacos, fully gf menu. ended up speaking to their regional manager and he said that everything is gf and that will not be changing any time! all locations have gf menu
so delicious! almost the entire menu is gf. really nice outdoor seating. vegan friendly but lots of meat too.
Incredible service, food, & drinks! Very knowledgeable about all allergies!
Not helpful with gluten free options. Disappointing taco’s, very small with little filling. The side of brown rice was clumpy. Sat at the bar and the Bar tender was on his phone more than serving the customers. Gave it three stars for the atmosphere. Not worth the trip.
Their menu was almost entirely gluten free and everything that was not was very clearly marked. Tons of options to choose from! I had the lunch platter with a cauliflower, mushroom, and chicken pastor taco with a side of chicken soup. I also added a pork belly taco. The chips and salsa and guacamole platter was also gf. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and informed me that they would clear an area to cook on for me. This was my favorite meal in Nashville!! I would recommend to everyone celiac or not.
Honestly LOVE this place.. The menu is marked with a * if it contains gluten. There are only a few *'s on the menu. Both fish tacos are delicious. My husband loves the pork belly tacos. The gf dessert is spiced chocolate pudding and worth getting every time! We have been here 3 times in the past 7 days. It's so easy to eat here! Everyone is super friendly too. I don't think I have been to a friendlier restaurant.
Bartaco is very Celiac-friendly! And the food is absolutely delicious. Most of the food items are naturally gluten free (there is an asterisk on the menu next to food that contains gluten) and the staff takes extra precautions if you tell them you have an allergy. It is wonderful to be able to eat almost anything from the menu.
Awesome for gf! The majority of the menu is gf so they actually mark the items WITH gluten!!! Awesomeness!
Bartaco is so fantastic for anyone with food sensitivities. I am so happy they finally have Raleigh location! Their menu is clearly marked with any items that DO contain gluten, which is only a couple. Everything else is safe! This will be my new favorite gluten-free spot in town.
This place is a celiac paradise! Everything but the desserts are gluten free, the food is delicious, the staff is always careful and friendly, and they will even make you dessert plantains in a separate fryer that are out of this world. By far my favorite place to eat, I have a menu full of incredible options and never need to worry about cross-contamination.
So many gluten free options that they actually mark what is NOT gluten free on the menu (only 5 items 4 are desserts). Shared 3 appetizers plantains in a dedicated fryer, pork tamale, and blistered shishitos for tacos we shared Baja fish in a dedicated fryer, falafel, pork belly, rock shrimp, and Portobello mushroom. We also shared grillled street corn, and didn't have room for our ahi tuna rice bowl so we took that home. They have 1 dessert option spiced chocolate pudding. I have not 1 complaint. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable to cross contamination. Will be eating here again in the near future
Great place to go have lunch and dinner solo or with friends. Tacos are GF because they use corn. You can sub for lettuce cups. 95% of the menu is GF. So lots of options for everyone. They have gluten removed beer and a cider. Also their cocktails are gf. You can write in the menu your allergens. I wrote no gluten or dairy and so any item I ordered that comes with dairy they took the dairy off. Menu is written so they label items that have gluten in it.
i eat here alot. basically a totally gluten free menu and very few options with flour. tacos are AWESOME but tiny so it can get pricey for a "casual" meal if your hungry.
My wife and I frequent this place on a regular basis because of their knowledge and option for gluten free. They only have 2 items on the menu that are not gluten free. The tacos are amazing as is the roasted corn. Tip: if you fill out the survey card and hand it to the hostess at the front you get a token for a free taco on your next trip
WARNING. We specifically informed the server that my son has Celiac. When a different server brought my son’s meal, we asked her whether it was gluten free, and she replied yes. He ate part of his meal and she returned saying she was not sure, and took the meal away. What they gave him was a flour tortilla and he is now sick. We won’t be back. They were incredibly careless.
I’ve been many times and I always love it. I’ve had many tacos and bowls that are safe. Remember to ask for corn tacos instead of chips with the guacamole. The fryer isn’t dedicated gf.
The staff here is always great. Great gf options. Tacos are on corn tortillas so no need to worry about asking. There is also a Bibb lettuce option. They do have wine and gf cocktails and gf beer! It’s not clearly labeled. The new Belgium gluyiny is gf (crafted to remove gluten). I’ve never gotten sick here.
I eat here all the time and have never had any issues and I’m super sensitive. Everything on the menu is GF except for the gazpacho and desserts. So many options. I usually get the Baja fish tacos and shrimp tacos cause they’re so good and it’s nice to have breaded fish that is gf! Great margaritas made with in house tequila too!
Amazing! I have Celiac and am rarely able to eat out. I had no issues eating here. Great atmosphere, not too busy,l. I was told that everything on the menu is gluten free except for one soup and some desserts. All the tacos, sauces, chips and fryers are gluten free. Their tacos are a smaller, tapas style size where you order by the taco. All the flavors I tried were awesome and best of all, I felt great afterwards, never got sick! I will definitely be back when I come back in town.
Great! Amazing! Very impressed, everything was pretty much safe except dessert. Our server mentioned there was one taco that has a marinade that contains a beer that is crafted to remove so we decided to skip that for safety but very impressed
Staff was knowledgeable about gluten free. Most things on the menu are GF, except for a fee that are clearly marked not gluten-free. I had to call someone over to confirm after I received the fish tacos since they were fried (I was expecting grilled/baked fish.) They were indeed GF— their tempura batter is rice based.
So they do have corn tortillas and the tacos tasted okay but it’s way too expensive and the flavor didn’t match the decor or location. Also the tacos are so thin authentic Mexican taco trucks or street vendors because let’s face it this is street food usually double them up to hold the meat etc but this place is so cheap they give you one and over charge you. I’m not cheap I’ll pay for quality food and flavor but if I can make something better than a gastropub which typically prides itself in from scratch quality food then I’m not going to bother. It’s a lovely place and if you’re looking for a place opened late and street food at a high price then go; the staff is knowledgeable and they do have GF options.
The food was delicious and majority of menu naturally gluten free! Tacos are smaller scale and made with corn tortillas. I’ve been many times and always great. Dedicated fryer...make sure you inform them of allergies. They put a butter spray on chips....make sure you let them know if you cannot tolerate and they will eliminate that step.
