I couldn't believe I got soooo much food! I had special gluten free bread, a salad plate of pickled and/or dilled beets/cucumbers/tomatoes/green beans/onion, Germany potatoe salad (a slightly sweet vinegar version), sauerkraut and a breaded chicken cutlet with a cream gravy sauce. Huge amount of food! I shared and there was still leftovers! for $18 this amount of food was a great bargain. Enjoy the separate gluten free menu, it's huge!!!
The white wine flight and the music at 6 pm on the weekends is really a lot of fun and it's not loud and obnoxious either. It's one older guy that knows how to play about 20 insturments. No lie.
Oh, give Pure Cider a try, it's a German cider that's not too sweet. It honestly taste a lot like a fresh pressed apple juice. They also do giant pork roast, delish. This place is so legitimately gluten-free that they actually host Celiac chapters here. The owner's daughter was able to talk to me about gluten ataxia, they know a lot about a lot of different allergies period.

This family run restaurant takes the utmost GF care. They “understand” and are cross contamination watch dogs!! My non GF family tried my GF options and gave both their non GF and the GF options all full approval!! It’s been a lonnnng time since I walked away more than full from a meal out with family. I had potato pancakes for an appetizer and even GF apple strudel for dessert. A+++++++ If you haven’t been there, you should move it to the top of your list!! Plus it’s the perfect time of year for the comfort of German Food !!

I love it here! I've eaten here several times and have never gotten sick. I almost ate my bf's red cabbage and the waitress saw and stopped me because she saw him put his fork in it, after he had used his fork to eat some of his glutenous schnitzel. They also had gf cookies for sale when I was there, they were delish. I love how the gf menu is almost as big as the main menu! The owner's have a very good friend who has Celiac and walked them through CC and helped them curate a gf menu. Cannot recommend enough.

Last time I was there they had gluten free take home desserts for sale. The blueberry cake was excellent. I will definitely be buying another one next time I visit.
Get the items that aren’t normally available on gluten free menus. (Spaetzel, soup, breaded items, gravies, and sometimes even dessert!). The wide selection keeps me coming back!
Excellent selection of GF options. I have been here 20+ times and never had an issue. The owner and her daughter are amazing.

Went here as a family excited to find a gf German restaurant. My son doesn't have much symptoms at this time, so I can't really say if he had any issues. BUT if you're a German family you will be disappointed. The gf spaetzle was decent, but my son didn't like the schnitzel or Jaeger sauce. The rest of us had non-gf food and were disappointed in the Jaeger schnitzel, sauerbraten and paprika schnitzel. Not like Oma's that's for sure.

Oh my goodness. Such fabulous food. Such care in safety. They created their gluten free menu with the help of friends who have celiac to have the same authentic taste and gluten free. Fantastic sauerkraut. Not a dedicated kitchen but prepared separately.

GF German Deliciousness!!! I come here often and have never gotten sick. Loved the GF Soup options too but they are not available everyday. Spaetzle and Schnitzel are my favorites. So many different sauces to choose from!
Gf Schnitzel...yes please. It it the spot!!!

Family owned German restaurant with authentic German food. There is a separate gluten free menu, but even if you’re there for lunch, you have to order off that menu and pay the dinner price. The food was very good, though, and the choices were many. I even had gluten free spaetzle and apple strudel. The staff was trained in celiac understanding and gluten free cooking. I felt very safe eating there, after all of this was explained to me.

After eating here today, I've had severe heartburn. Extreme pain for 9 hours and counting! I had the Wiener schnitzel with Spatzel. I also had a sampler side of their salads and the GF strudel (awful). The GF menu items are "dinner" prices so my meal was double the price compared to my Mom's "lunch" menu. Same amount of food! (Funny that I could not use a dinner coupon from Groupon even though I had a "dinner"meal.) As a "celiac", I was so excited to try this place and had high hopes! For everyone's sake, I hope that my experience is not the norm.

Big GF menu and they are very knowledgeable and cautious about gluten free dining.
Awesome GF menu. Everything GF we tried was outstanding. You would never know it was GF. A true hidden gem. Friendly staff and very conscientious of gluten free needs.

Amazing food and service. A hidden gem! Gluten free menu is separate and extensive. Food was like I remember from childhood! Highly recommended!
Full gluten free menu with authentic gluten free German food, including schnitzel and spaetzle!!! Don't let the strip mall location fool you, the food is amazing and well worth the price.
I was very leary about going to a German restaurant and having gf items. They have a huge gf menu. They abide by all of celiac guidelines. The food is delicious. The restaurant has been gf for 5 years. I talked to both the mother and the daughter who is the chef. Both of them take pride in the food they serve. Highly recommended by me. You have to try it. my husband travels to Switzerland and told the mother and daughter that this is the best german food he has had. All of their food is homemade.

Large gluten free selection, but pricey for what you get.
The first German food I have found and it is FANTASTIC!!!!
Very friendly staff, amazing food and great atmosphere!
Do not hesitate to come, you won't regret it!

The staff and proprietor were wonderful and friendly. The food was very good. As mentioned, the g-f menu has most things that the regular menu does... plenty of things to choose from and authentic German.

This restaurant makes their own homemade spaetzel gluten free. Their gluten free menu includes almost all of the items on their regular menu.
