Used NIMA tester and gf salmon and Milano salad both had gluten detected.

The staff is knowledgable, food is delicious, and I didn’t feel like I could only have pasta which was GREAT!

I had been eating at Bella for years before I found out that I had celiac. I was super nervous when they said they had a gluten free menu because from past experiences I don’t trust anywhere that is wonderful with pasta. They have a gluten free menu and I had the citrus honey salmon and it was amazing! I also had a Milano salad. I did NOT get sick and the salmon is the best I’ve ever had! The waitress was very friendly and understood exactly what I was saying when I said I have celiac and need my food prepared fully gluten free. I didn’t not have the pasta but for my meal it is a safe choice.

Be very careful here. I don’t think the kitchen fully comprehends gluten free. I got horribly sick. I knew the moment I found a regular noodle in my gluten free pasta that I was going to be ill. I gave it two stars because there are other items that are safe (like their Milano salad) that I’ve eaten in trips prior to this one.

They have a separate gluten free menu. My server was very understanding about making accommodations. I had the pasta con broccoli whuch was delicious. It was made with fusilli noodles insteas of the traditional cavatelli. The salad was great too!

Decent food, nice to have an option in Springfield with an actual gluten free menu.

We visited Bella Milano for lunch on a recent visit to Springfield. The GF baked pasta with red and cheese was delicious. I specifically asked for a Caesar salad with no anchovies but the salad has a definite anchovie taste. While being glutened is always a possibility when eating away from home, I was disappointed to find that to be true for this restaurant. My guess is that it was the salad since the waiter was not forthcoming about the anchovies. As much as I enjoyed the pasta, we won't be returning.
Their fettuccine Alfredo is to die for. Finally, a nice romantic place to take your gluten sensitive date!
Good variety of gluten free options on the GF menu. I had the grilled eggplant Parmesan with no problems. Just be wary of going on a busy night. Our waiter was rather inattentive, but the food was good!
Good options on the gf menu. I tried the gf Alfredo pasta. It was not great. It tasted a bit watered down. It needed lots of salt and pepper. I would try other options in the future. The Salmon was recommended and did look good but I was in the mood for pasta. The Milano salad was very good! Recommend it!

Went to dinner with ten other people to celebrate my son's wedding. My food was brought out separately from the others. I had the Gluten Free Pasta With Shrimp which consisted of: Gluten free pasta tossed with olive oil, garlic, grape tomatoes, fresh basil, and three jumbo, sauteed shrimp. It was just good but nothing special, it could have used more spices or even more fresh basil. However, good news was that I didn't get sick. I'm not celiac just highly reactive to gluten, wheat, and even dairy now.

Felt awful after eating from their gluten free menu. Not sure if it was cross contamination or not even gluten free, either way I was miserable.

Separate gf menu. Server seemed knowledgeable. My gf food was brought out separately from my husband’s food.
