They claimed my meal was gluten free but I ended up sick which was sad considering we were here for the parks.
Food was excellent, and not overpriced for the amount of food you get. I had the Benihana Trio, which was great because it had a little bit of everything. The food is prepared right in front of you and is very entertaining. Where else are you going to see an onion volcano? The staff was excellent and extremely knowledgeable, and knew about my allergy from the moment we sat down. Would definitely recommend for a nice entertaining dinner.

This place has GF soy sauce and they can make GF fried rice. It was good but three out of four of us got sick. The three of us ate the chicken so I’m not sure if we had food poisoning or it wasn’t fully GF.
After asking numerous questions and indicating the seriousness of my need for gf, I was told anything on the menu could be modified to be gf. I ordered sushi roll that I had ordered and safely eaten from many other restaurants. I was then told I couldn't have that bc the cream cheese want gf. In 8 yrs of eating gf, I have never encountered cream cheese that contained gluten but our server insisted repeatedly the cream cheese was not gf so I ordered something different - spicy hibachi chicken which I was assured would be gf. The dish was served, I took 3 bites and our server and another server came over and told me there was a "little" problem. I said "Please tell me this does not have gluten in it?" "No, no, it's gluten free but the chili sauce is not gluten free so you mustn't eat that. You need something different." Long story short, they took the dish away, served me plain chicken and vegetables and gf chicken fried rice. At 4 a.m. I woke up with terrible stomach pain, a horrible headache and other gluten induced symptoms I won't share here. To make matters worse, the rest of my family's meals were served one plate at a time with a lengthy interval between their meat entrees and their rice which they would have preferred to eat at the same time. Everyone pretty much ate separately and their entrees were cold before their rice ever arrived. At the end of the night, my meal was discounted from the bill and we still spent $100 for a very bad experience. Entree portions are also quite small. I would not recommend eating here.

Food was good. They were informed about allergies. Delicious.
Service was awful. Took forever to get served.
Yes
Very informed and cooked my meal first with gluten free soy sauce. Wonderful!
Most of menu is actually GF. If others at the table are eating GF, they will prepare GF first. Also have GF soy sauce.

The restaurant said they understood what Celiac was, and at the beginning they were great. The Server catered towards my needs well. The soup and salad both had gluten, so for the hibachi dinner he let me sub Edamame instead (and it was a lot!). The sashimi always great too. I asked that they cook the food in the back and they didn’t. The cleaned the cooktop off really well (which I’m new so I’m not sure how safe that is) and cooked almost all of my food first. The chicken fried rice and the scallops in front of me using gluten free soy sauce. It was after this things got a bit bad. He cooked the rice and main dish for everyone else (for Hibachi) then when he cooked the veggies and shrimp (even though he sorta cleaned off the stovetop, he tried to put the soy sauce free veggies on my plate (I said no) and he put the shrimp on my plate with the regular soy sauce on it. Thankfully I was full at that point but made me really uncomfortable. I’m new to Celiac but I know that’s bad. So experience was so/so.

Something must have changed here recently, because I informed the host that I had celiac, and he had all of my food prepared in a separate gluten free kitchen. All of my food arrived at once, while my partner was having hers cooked on the griddle with the rest of the group. I felt very comfortable, and the host even walked over a few times to ensure everything went smooth. I have celiac and had no symptoms the evening or day after. I'd for sure eat here again.

NOT celiac safe!! Willing to make the food gluten free and use gluten free soy sauce but everything is cooked on the same stove and they use the same spatula for everything. Definitely got at least cross contaminated because i have major brain fog now, no stomach pain yet thank goodness. Would be great for someone who’s just gluten free but if you have an allergy i would avoid it.

The waitress really knew her stuff when it came to things I could and couldn’t have. I felt safe with consuming food here. The chef did my rice first before everyone else’s. They are very accommodating when you let them know you are gluten free. They do have a gluten free menu!
